The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. WAMG At The INSIDE OUT Premiere

Disney Pixar’s INSIDE OUT is gearing up to hit theaters, and in celebration, stars Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Bill Hader, Lewis Black, Mindy Kaling, Kyle MacLachlan, and Bobby Moynihan hit the purple carpet for the films premiere. Do you ever look at someone and wonder what is going on inside their head? Disney•Pixar’s original new film “Inside Out” ventures inside the mind to find out.

Based in Headquarters, the control center inside 11-year-old Riley’s mind, five Emotions are hard at work, led by lighthearted optimist Joy (Amy Poehler), whose mission is to make sure Riley stays happy. Fear (voice of Bill Hader) heads up safety, Anger (voice of Lewis Black) ensures all is fair and Disgust (voice of Mindy Kaling) prevents Riley from getting poisoned—both physically and socially. Sadness (voice of Phyllis Smith) isn’t exactly sure what her role is, and frankly, neither is anyone else.  When Riley’s family relocates to a scary new city, the Emotions are on the job, eager to help guide her through the difficult transition. But when Joy and Sadness are inadvertently swept into the far reaches of Riley’s mind—taking some of her core memories with them—Fear, Anger and Disgust are left reluctantly in charge. Joy and Sadness must venture through unfamiliar places—Long Term Memory, Imagination Land, Abstract Thought and Dream Productions—in a desperate effort to get back to Headquarters, and Riley.

Marvel’s GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY is set to hit theaters on August 1st, but the World Premiere of the epic space adventure“,” directed by James Gunn, took place on Monday evening in Hollywood.

Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Glenn Close and Benicio Del Toro walked the red carpet to greet the eager fans.

After the premiere, the stars and filmmakers went inside to introduce the film – presented in Dolby 3D and Dolby Atmos at the Dolby Theatre.

The cast also made a visit to “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and went head to head with Five-year-old comic book expert Mia Grace.

Marvel’s CAPTAIN AMERICA : THE WINTER SOLDIER made it’s world premiere last night at the El Capitan theater in Hollywood, California and WAMG was there! Stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Cobie Smulders and more greeted an excited mob of fans before walking the red carpet on their big night, along with some special guests that included Jeremy Renner, Clark Gregg, Jennifer Grey, Michael Rooker, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and more. After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off assailants sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.

WAMG At The NEED FOR SPEED Red Carpet Premiere

Tonight, the stars of DreamWorks Pictures NEED FOR SPEED lit up the red carpet at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood, CA for the films big-screen debut… and they arrived in style. Director Scott Waugh and stars Aaron Paul, Scott Mescudi, Rami Malek, and Ramon Rodriguez all arrived in cars from the film while eager fans cheered them on. WAMG was on the red carpet, and has a firsthand look at who was there to celebrate the films release. Check it out below.

DreamWorks Pictures’ “Need for Speed” marks an exciting return to the great car culture films of the 1960s and ’70s, when the authenticity of the world brought a new level of intensity to the action on-screen. Tapping into what makes the American myth of the open road so appealing, the story chronicles a near-impossible cross-country journey for our heroes — one that begins as a mission for revenge, but proves to be one of redemption. Based on the most successful racing video game franchise ever with over 140 million copies sold, “Need for Speed” captures the freedom and excitement of the game in a real-world setting, while bringing to life the passion for the road that has made our love of cars so timeless.

The film centers around Tobey Marshall (Aaron Paul), a blue-collar mechanic who races muscle cars on the side in an unsanctioned street-racing circuit. Struggling to keep his family-owned garage afloat, he reluctantly partners with the wealthy and arrogant ex-NASCAR driver Dino Brewster (Dominic Cooper). But just as a major sale to car broker Julia Maddon (Imogen Poots) looks like it will save Tobey’s shop, a disastrous race allows Dino to frame Tobey for a crime he didn’t commit, and sending Tobey to prison while Dino expands his business out West.

Two years later, Tobey is released and set on revenge — but he knows his only chance to take down his rival Dino is to defeat him in the high-stakes race known as De Leon — the Super Bowl of underground racing. However to get there in time, Tobey will have to run a high-octane, action-packed gauntlet that includes dodging pursuing cops coast-to-coast as well as contending with a dangerous bounty Dino has put out on his car. With the help of his loyal crew and the surprisingly resourceful Julia, Tobey defies odds at every turn and proves that even in the flashy world of exotic supercars, the underdog can still finish first.

Watch the TRON: LEGACY London Premiere LIVE

As Disney brings you the 3D movie event of the year with director Jospeh Kosinski’s long awaited return to the grid, TRON: LEGACY fans worldwide will be able to experience the Tron: Legacy London premiere as it unfolds LIVE from the blue carpet today, December 5th, at 12:30pm ET / 9:30am PT.

Hosted by UK radio DJ Edith Bowman the live premiere stream begins at 5.20pm (GMT) with exclusive access all areas footage, including interviews with Tron: Legacy’s all-star cast as they walk the TRON-ified blue carpet; from the legendary Jeff Bridges (returning as Kevin Flynn), Olivia Wilde (Quorra) to the film’s director Joseph Kosinski and the film’s producer Sean Bailey.

Synopsis:

LOST Season 6 Premiere Date!

The final season has arrived. LOST fans rejoice. I love LOST as much as the next guy, and I am really hoping that everything will come full circle (or pretty close to) when the season premieres this year. The official date has been announced by ABC today that the special “all night event” will be on February 2nd 2010. The evening will start off with an hour long review of season’s past and then end with the 2-hour season premiere at 9:00PM ET.

The series will then commence to its normal time from 9:00-10:00pm ET the following week!

I can’t wait! Anyone have a theory worked out yet for the ending?
