NYCC 2012: Watch Live Online!

Today is the kickoff of NYCC 2012 & instead of walking the convention floor; I’m stuck at home putting some finishing touches on my new film, which premieres next weekend at the Orlando Film Festival. I’ll write a little something about my new flick later but for now I want to pass along some info for those of you also stuck sitting out NY Comic Con this weekend.

For the first time ever, NYCC will be live streaming several major panels, as well as from the show floor, for free in partnership with TwitchTV. Just check back on this page to watch the video below or watch it directly at www.NewYorkComicCon.com.

Watch the LIVE Premiere For THE TAKERS!

Screen Gems will be streaming live from the TAKERS Premiere — followed by performances with T.I., Chris Brown, and guest Keri Hilson. The event will be hosted by Terrence J from the 106 & Park show.

Here are the details for tonight (*approximate times):

  • 6:30 – 8:00pm PST: live streaming from the red carpet
  • 8:00pm PST: during screening, we’ll re-run the red carpet coverage
  • 9:30pm PST: live streaming from the after party
  • 10:30pm PST*: live streaming of the musical performances
  •  Webcast will end around 11:30pm*, when the player will run a cutdown of the Premiere coverage

Synopsis:

TAKERS, directed by John Luessenhop, revolves around a notorious group of criminals (Idris Elba, Paul Walker, T.I., Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen and Michael Ealy) who continue to baffle police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies. They are in and out like clockwork, leaving no evidence behind and laying low in between heists. But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find their plans interrupted by a hardened detective (Matt Dillon) who is hell-bent on solving the case.
