Last season brought the culmination of “All Out War,” which pitted Rick Grimes and his group of survivors against the Saviors and their leader, Negan. With Negan’s life in his hands, Rick had a character-defining choice in front of him, and he spared Negan to uphold the values his late son, Carl, championed – values that created conflict within his group. Now, with our survivors rebuilding civilization under Rick’s leadership a year and a half after the end of the war, it’s a time of relative peace among the communities. However, the world they knew is rapidly changing, nature is literally taking over, and, as time passes, the communities confront unexpected obstacles and danger. But nothing can prepare them for the formidable force they’re about to encounter, threatening the very idea of civilization our survivors have worked so hard to build.

The undead get animated when Adult Swim’s The Robot Chicken Walking Dead Special: Look Who’s Walking arrives on Blu-ray and DVD on March 27. From Robot Chicken creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich and their Stoopid Buddy Stoodios partners, John Harvatine IV and Eric Towner, along with The Walking Dead creator and executive producer Robert Kirkman and showrunner and executive producer Scott M. Gimple, the 22-minute special is a hilariously brilliant parody joining together two fan-favorite television series.

AMC released today this new poster for its upcoming original drama The Walking Dead, which premieres Halloween night, Oct. 31 at 10PM | 9C. Executive produced and written by three-time Academy Award nominee Frank Darabont, The Walking Dead tells the story of the months and years that follow a zombie apocalypse.

The series stars Andrew Lincoln (Love Actually), Jon Bernthal (The Pacific), Sarah Wayne Callies (Prison Break), Laurie Holden (The Mist), Jeffrey DeMunn (The Green Mile), Steven Yeun (The Big Bang Theory) and Emma Bell (The Bedford Diaries) as a group of survivors traveling in search of a safe and secure home.

Close your windows, lock your doors and clear your schedules. Come this Halloween, you’ll have more to fear than trick-or-treaters. AMC has announced that its newest original series, The Walking Dead, will premiere on Halloween night, Sun., Oct. 31 at 10PM | 9C. The Sunday night series will debut with a 90-minute premiere episode. Subsequent episodes will be one-hour long presentations.

If that isn’t enough to “whet your undead appetites” (heh heh,) then perhaps footage from the series will: This official four and a half-minute trailer first screened at the 2010 Comic-Con in San Diego. As the song goes, “The Sun Ain’t Gonna Shine Anymore.”
