The second trailer for DreamWorks’ new computer-animated feature MEGAMIND has hit the web and the movie still looks potentially good, but I’m not necessarily compelled to get overly excited. Check it out for yourself and see if the quasi-Superman story told from the perspective of the super-villain appeals to you. Personally, my favorite part so far is still Megamind’s fish-in-a-bowl-on-a-robot henchman. MEGAMIND is set to hit theaters on November 5, 2010.

Indie Trailer: LETHAL OBSESSION
Trailer Introduces THE ADJUSTMENT BUREAU
Here’s the first trailer for THE ADJUSTMENT BUREAU, the new dramatic, sci-fi thriller written and directed by George Nolfi () based on the Philip K. Dick story “Adjustment Team”. This is Nolfi’s first outing as a director, but has written screenplays for OCEAN’S TWELVE, THE SENTINEL and THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM. The film stars Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, with Terrence Stamp in a mysterious, semi-villainous role.
The affair between a politician (Matt Damon) and a ballerina (Emily Blunt) is affected by mysterious forces keeping the lovers apart.
The trailer as it is presented, boasts an intriguing philosophical/sci-fi concept revolving greatly around the idea of free will, but the overall tone of the trailer felt slightly too familiar. Hopefully, there’s an edge to the film that we’ll see in theater that simply doesn’t come through in the trailer. THE ADJUSTMENT BUREAU is due out in theaters on September 17, 2010.

New INCEPTION Trailer Online
For all of you faithful followers of Chirstopher Nolan, here’s the new trailer for his self-written new sci-fi thriller feature film INCEPTION, due out in theaters this summer on July 16. The movie features a huge first-rate cast including Leonardo Dicaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Ken Watanabe, Ellen Page, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berenger, Michael Caine and Lukas Haas. If the cast itself isn’t enough to get you into the theater, I fear there’s little hope! As much as I want to call INCEPTION the stylistic meeting of MEMENTO and THE MATRIX, I know that it simply won’t do this film justice.
UPDATE: Now that you’ve enjoyed the NOT new trailer for INCEPTION due to my not paying attention, here’s the real new trailer for INCEPTION. Enjoy…

Ryan Reynolds gets BURIED in this Teaser Trailer
Ryan Reynolds has made us laugh, shocked us and even made us cringe a time or two, but this go ’round he’s determined to freak us all out. The little indie flick that could, a favorite at Sundance, BURIED stars Ryan Reynolds in a film about the most primal yet frightening fears shared my many of us… fears of the dark and enclosed spaces, loss of control and the overwhelming worst of them all… the fear of the unknown. With that, BURIED is a film that appears to be scaring the heck out of people in an otherwise simplistic way, by sticking Ryan Reynolds in a coffin, buried alive. As the audience, we get the privilege of experiencing that terror with him, crammed into the same tiny coffin, struggling for air and a grasp on our sanity. BURIED hits theaters on October 8, 2010. Check out the teaser trailer below, if you dare…
PIRANHA 3D Trailer Nibbles at Your Funny Bone
You don’t even have to say it… I already know what you’re thinking. And, it’s something along the lines of “seriously?” Well, some of you more discerning fans of cheesy cinema may have already known about PIRANHA 3D, a project which has had some setbacks, but it looks like its resurfaced with a release date of August 27, 2010. So, before you go swimming and tubing out in the harmless waters this summer, you may want to check out this trailer first. All things being equal, I am thrilled to see Christopher Lloyd back on the big screen. I’m throwing caution aside and jumping into this dangerously shallow body of H2O horror head first! Hey, if you can’t enjoy a terribly cheesy horror flick, than you just don’t know how to live…
Trailer for SOLITARY MAN – Michael Douglas’ Other Movie
With all the hype and anticipation surrounding Michael Douglas’ return as Gordon Gecko in Oliver Stone’s WALL STREET sequel, MONEY NEVER SLEEPS, Douglas’ other movie, SOLITARY MAN, has sort of fallen under it’s shadow. Written and co-directed by Brian Koppelman (with David Levien) the movie sounds familiar, at first glance. Douglas plays Ban, a former car dealership owner whose bad decisions as a businessman and a ladies’ man has destroyed his life and marriage.
Brian Koppelman’s only previously directed film was KNOCKAROUND GUYS (2001) but as a writer he’s been better received with films like ROUNDERS, OCEAN’S THIRTEEN and THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE. In SOLITARY MAN, Douglas is joined by Susan Sarandon as his ex-wife, with a supporting cast that includes Danny Devito, Jesse Eisenberg (ZOMBIELAND), Jenna Fischer (SLITHER) and Mary-Louise Parker, who appeared in the infamously long-titled but excellent THE ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES BY THE COWARD ROBERT FORD.
SOLITARY MAN seems to be one part anti-romantic comedy, one part dysfunctional family dramedy and one part potentially enjoyable. From the trailer, the cast seems to gel well, with a story that’s interesting enough to create curiosity about how Ben’s life turns out in the end. The trailer succeeds both at being funny and dramatically genuine enough to please audiences. SOLITARY MAN played three film festivals during late 2009 and has a current IMDB rating of 8/10 with 71 votes. That’s not too shabby! Check out the trailer below… SOLITARY MAN is set to hit theaters on May 7, 2010.
Trailer for Documentary WAKING SLEEPING BEAUTY
One of the sleeper documentary hits of SXSW, this film has been getting tons of critical acclaim. While documentaries rarely get wide theatrical release, I think once you see the trailer that Disney fans and critics alike will find something magical worth witnessing in the film. So, keep your mouse ears perked up for your opportunity to see WAKING SLEEPING BEAUTY.
SYNOPSIS
From 1984 to 1994, a perfect storm of people and circumstances changed the face of animation forever. Waking Sleeping Beauty is no fairy tale. It’s the true story of how Disney regained its magic with a staggering output of hits: ‘The Little Mermaid,’ ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ ‘Aladdin,’ ‘The Lion King’ and more, over a 10-year period. Director Don Hahn and Producer Peter Schneider bring their insider knowledge to Waking Sleeping Beauty. Their film offers a fascinating and candid perspective of what happened in the creative ranks set against the dynamic tensions among the top leadership, Michael Eisner, Jeffrey Katzenberg and Roy Disney (the nephew of Walt).
