Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake return in Trolls World Tour, an all-star sequel to DreamWorks Animation’s 2016 musical hit. In an adventure that will take them well beyond what they’ve known before, Poppy (Kendrick) and Branch (Timberlake) discover that they are but one of six different Trolls tribes scattered over six different lands and devoted to six different kinds of music: Funk, Country, Techno, Classical, Pop and Rock. Their world is about to get a lot bigger and a whole lot louder.
Check out the Trailer:
A member of hard-rock royalty, Queen Barb (Rachel Bloom), aided by her father King Thrash (Ozzy Osbourne), wants to destroy all other kinds of music to let rock reign supreme. With the fate of the world at stake, Poppy and Branch, along with their friends — Biggie (James Corden), Chenille (Caroline Hjelt), Satin (Aino Jawo), Cooper (Ron Funches) and Guy Diamond (Kunal Nayyar) — set out to visit all the other lands to unify the Trolls in harmony against Barb, who’s looking to upstage them all.
Cast as members of the different musical tribes is one of the largest, and most acclaimed, groups of musical talent ever assembled for an animated film. From the land of Funk are Mary J. Blige, George Clinton and Anderson .Paak. Representing Country is Kelly Clarkson as Delta Dawn, with Sam Rockwell as Hickory and Flula Borg as Dickory. J Balvin brings Reggaeton, while Ester Dean adds to the Pop tribe. Anthony Ramos brings the beat in Techno and Jamie Dornan covers smooth jazz. World-renowned conductor and violinist Gustavo Dudamel appears as Trollzart and Charlyne Yi as Pennywhistle from the land of Classical. And Kenan Thompson raps as a newborn Troll named Tiny Diamond.
Trolls World Tour is directed by Walt Dohrn, who served as co-director on Trolls, and is produced by returning producer Gina Shay. The film is co-directed by David P. Smith and co-produced by Kelly Cooney Cilella, both of whom worked on the first Trolls.

The greatest love story ever told, starring…garden gnomes? In the upcoming GNOMEO AND JULIET, Shakespeare’s revered tale gets a comical, off-the-wall makeover. When feuding neighbors go at it on Verona Drive, the garden gnomes join the fight and it’s Red vs. Blue. Hunky blue gnome Gnomeo (James McAvoy) meets the rebellious red gnome Juliet (Emily Blunt) when they are both outside their yards on a quest for a rare flower in a near-by abandoned yard. Each disguised for their secret mission, neither realizes the other is actually the “enemy” and both are smitten. Once they discover each others true identity, they must convince their families that there is no reason to hate each other. With the help of cheeky frog Nanette and a hilarious plastic pink flamingo, they return to their yards only to find that world war three has broken out in the garden, complete with smashed gnomes and the killer uber-lawnmower “Terrafirminator” bent on total destruction.
This was one of those animated movies that you think is geared towards kids but ends up being so much fun for kids and adults alike. The voice casting was genius with the likes of Michael Caine (Lord Redbrick), Maggie Smith (Lady Bluebury), Patrick Stewart (William Shakespeare), Jason Statham (spot-on as the red gnome tough guy) and even Ozzy Osbourne as a dopey but loyal fawn. Throw in Hulk Hogan and Dolly Parton for some laugh-out-loud lines and you can’t go wrong.
One of the things I liked most was all the clever in-jokes and visuals. For those Shakespeare buffs paying attention, keep your eyes out for a brand of glue known as The Taming of the Glue, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern moving firm and Tempest Teapots.
What truly gave this movie its heart was the music. Executive producer Elton John provides a greatest-hits sound track, with each song perfectly framing the scenes where they are used. They capture not only the whimsy of the gardens and the gnomes, but also the sentiment of being young and in love. Listen to what Elton John says about the old and new songs and what it was like working with composer James Newton Howard courtesy of Hollywood.com.

So, lets take this back just a bit. For those of you that do not know… I collect gnomes. It started as a funny joke in college, and turned into a love for their whimsical little personalities! I have well over 30 now, and they all have names, such as Trogdor the Burninator, or King Diamond (who happens to ride a turtle). Why am I telling you all this? Because Touchstone pictures is releasing a new animated film… ABOUT GNOMES! My inner child is jumping up an down with excitement!!!
From Touchstone Pictures comes this newly released one-sheet for GNOMEO & JULIET and two new photos from their upcoming animated film.

There was news about two and a half years ago that Christopher Walken would be playing the Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne, in a biopic on the rocker’s life. That news came and went about as quick as a bat’s head on Ozzy’s dinner plate, but you know it got the brainiacs in Hollywood thinking up ideas.
Today, we leave the casting choices to you. If there were to be a biopic on Ozzy Osbourne’s life, who would play the Black Sabbath frontman?
If an Ozzy biopic were to get off the ground, there’s no telling what stage of the musician’s career the film would focus on. If it’s anything like ‘Ray,’ ‘Walk the Line,’ or any number of countless musician biopics, it will be about the singer breaking in and the hardships with drugs and women he ran into while on the road.
There is really only one actor that I can think of who would fit the Ozzy Osbourne bill perfectly, and that man is Liev Schreiber.
He can play creepy just as well as he can play cool, and that type of acting is needed for someone to pull off Ozzy well. There’s no telling if Schreiber can sing or even emulate the Ozzman’s voice in anyway, but, just strictly going on looks and acting ability alone, I’m sticking with him. And, no, this has nothing to do with my fascination to see Liev Schreiber in black eyeliner, so you can cease those rumors right friggin’ now!
What do you think? Who should play Ozzy Osbourne if and when a biopic on his life ever comes to fruition? What stages of Ozzy’s life and career should the film focus on? If you get any ideas for the rest of the Osbourne clan and who should play them, let us know that as well.
