Celebrate Your Local Security Guard With PAUL BLART: MALL COP 2 On National Security Guard Day Saturday, April 11

Each day, millions of Americans go to offices and hospitals, banks and stadiums, schools, museums, and, of course, malls – and now we’ll all have a chance to celebrate the unsung heroes who stand watch. On April 11, the country will give back as it celebrates National Security Guard Day with its most public face, the mall cop, Paul Blart.

The new comedy PAUL BLART: MALL COP 2 arrives in theaters the following Friday, April 17.

On National Security Guard Day, in New York City, security guards will participate in the celebration, beginning in the morning, as they join other New Yorkers in attempting to set two GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ titles on Segways.

Following the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS official attempts, the security guards will join Kevin James and other film talent at the New York City premiere of PAUL BLART: MALL COP 2.

As James rolls the red carpet on a Segway, uniformed guards will join him, also on Segways, lining the red carpet with their families, and attending the premiere screening of the film.

Nationwide, citizens can digitally thank their local security guards with a special certificate with Kevin James’ signature, downloadable at Facebook.com/PaulBlartMovie.

In a viral campaign, online communities are invited to thank the security guards they know at libraries, elderly homes, hospitals, the workplace, or anywhere, and to share those positive experiences with photos or videos using the hashtag #NationalSecurityGuardDay.

Commenting on the announcement, Dwight Caines, president, Theatrical Marketing said, “As we go about our daily lives, we’re often completely unaware of the heroes that walk – or ride their Segways – among us and keep us from harm. On April 11, it’s our chance to let the security guards of America know how much we all appreciate everything they do for us every day.”

Let the games begin. Here’s your first look at the brand new trailer for Sony Pictures’ PAUL BLART MALL COP 2.

In this sequel, in which Kevin James reprises the role of Paul Blart, the security guard is headed to Las Vegas to attend a Security Guard Expo with his teenage daughter Maya (Raini Rodriguez) before she departs for college. While at the convention, he inadvertently discovers a heist – and it’s up to Blart to apprehend the criminals.

The 2009 movie was a big box office success. Made for $26 million, PAUL BLART MALL COP saw a domestic gross of more than $146 million after it opened in the United States on January 16, 2009.

PAUL BLART MALL COP 2 is directed by Andy Fickman (THE GAME PLAN, PARENTAL GUIDANCE) and written by Kevin James & Nick Bakay.

New CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER Clips, Featurette, And Photos

Alright you Marvel movie maniacs! I hope these new pics and videos will help you endure the next few days till we can hit the multiplexes and enjoy the big screen treatment our favorite shield-slingin’ hero has deserved since he was introduced seventy years ago! First up it looks like the bad guys have the upper hand on Cap. Enjoy it while you can, Hydra!

Nice shot of the uniform. No doubt Cap’s infiltrated Hydra’s HQ.

Cap behind the wheel of his motorcycle. First time I’ve seen the small star on his upper arm. Very similar to the Ultimate Universe suit.

Looks like we’re on one of the snow covered mountains seen in the trailers.

And an even lovelier shot of Ms Atwell. First time I’ve seen here in her out of her brown military uniform. As they said back in the forties, ” Hubba! Hubba!”. Note the poster behind her showing Cap in the suit based on Timely’s Captain America Comics #1.

I wonder if this is the first time that Cap meets James ‘Bucky’ Barnes, played by Sebastian Shaw.

This looks to be shortly after Cap’s first public appearance, judging by the bright red boots and blue theatrical tights. Is he keeping a journal?

Steve Rodgers ( Chris Evans ) looks just as sharp in military browns as he does in red,white, and blue.

Perhaps Steve is watching newsreel war footage that inspires him to enlist.
