In an ancient world of magic and monsters, mystical lords must save their kingdom in L.O.R.D: Legend of Ravaging Dynasties, arriving on DVD, Digital HD and On Demand September 26 from Lionsgate. From the visual effects team behind James Cameron’s Avatar and Warcraft, this computer- animated, motion-capture, action-adventure odyssey stars Kris Wu and Fan Bingbing as sorcerers battling an evil traitor in order to restore peace to the kingdom. Based on the fantastic and epic novels by Guo Jingming, the L.O.R.D: Legend of Ravaging Dynasties DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $14.98.


Supernatural warriors clash with dark forces of evil in this electrifying fantasy-adventure. In a distant time, seven lords who wield powers beyond imagination share dominion over a world. But when one lord falls from grace, the others summon all their magic to stop an epic war that is ravaging the land — and threatening the order of the universe.

Jason Statham’s Shark Thriller MEG Dives Into U.S. Theaters On March 2, 2018

Warner Bros. Pictures has set a March 2, 2018 U.S. release date for the new science fiction action thriller based on Steve Alten’s book, MEG.

The film will be co-financed by Flagship Entertainment; Gravity Pictures, a division of China Media Capital (CMC); and Warner Bros. Pictures. Gravity Pictures will distribute the film in China and Warner Bros. will distribute the film throughout the rest of the world.

Jon Turtletaub (the “National Treasure” movies, “Last Vegas”) will direct the film. The film stars Jason Statham (“Spy,” “Furious 7,” “The Expendables” films) and award-winning Chinese actress Fan Bingbing (“Buddha Mountain,” “Iron Man 3,” “X-Men: Days of Future Past”).

Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, Belle Avery and Colin Wilson are producing the film, with Wei Wayne Jiang, Barrie M. Osborne, Randy Greenberg and Gerald R. Molen serving as executive producers.

An international underwater observation program, led by Chinese scientists, is under attack by an unknown danger, and its deep-sea submersible lies disabled and trapped at the bottom of the Mariana Trench. With time running out, former Naval Captain and expert deep sea diver Jonas Taylor (Statham) is recruited by Dr. Zhang Suyin, lead oceanographer of the program, for what is likely a suicide mission. Years before, Taylor had encountered this same terrifying threat, which forced him to abort his mission and abandon half his crew, resulting in disgrace and a dishonorable discharge. Now, Taylor must confront his fears and risk his own life to save everyone trapped below…bringing him face to face once more with the apex predator of all time.

Principal photography and production will begin later this year in China and New Zealand.

Jackie Chan To Star In Renny Harlin’s SKIPTRACE

BLOOM announced Renny Harlin (The Legend of Hercules, Die Hard 2) will direct action buddy comedy SKIPTRACE which will commence production on August 11, 2014.

Starring Jackie Chan (Rush Hour, The Karate Kid), Seann William Scott (American Pie, Role Models) and Fan Bingbing (Iron Man 3), SKIPTRACE is written by Jay Longino with revisions by Brian Gatewood & Alessandro Tanaka and Geoff Moore & David Posmentier and BenDavid Grabinski.

SKIPTRACE follows a Hong Kong detective Bennie Black (Chan), who has been tracking a dangerous crime boss, Victor Wong, for over a decade. When Bennie’s beautiful young niece Bai (Fan Bingbing) gets into trouble with Wong’s crime syndicate, he comes to the rescue and must track down the only man who can help her – a fast-talking American gambler named Connor Watts (Scott) who is also on the run from the mob. The unlikely pair embarks on a hilarious adventure from the wind swept dunes of the Gobi Desert to the rocky spires of the Huangshan Mountains.

Talent International and Dasym Entertainment will produce along with Jackie Chan, Esmond Ren, Charlie Coker, Damien Saccani and David Gerson. The film is financed by Talent International and Dasym Entertainment (a subsidiary of Dasym Investment Strategies B.V., Exclusive Media’s parent company). Alex Walton and Ken Kao’s newly launched BLOOM will handle international sales on the film.
