MakingOf.com scored some pretty badass behind the scenes footage from Quentin Tarantino’s INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS. Watch as Tarantino perfects every scene, gives the crew a mantra, and some alternate takes. Check it out below:

Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg made magic with BAND OF BROTHERS a few years ago and they are going to do it again in 2010 with THE PACIFIC. It will air on HBO again as a 10 part mini series, here is the synopsis:
The Pacific is based primarily on two memoirs of U.S. Marines: With the Old Breed by Eugene Sledge and Helmet for My Pillow by Robert Leckie. The series will tell the stories of the two authors and Marine John Basilone, as the war against the Empire of Japan rages.
Given the literary sources mentioned above, the series will feature well-known battles involving the 1st Marine Division, such as Guadalcanal, Cape Gloucester, Peleliu, and Okinawa, as well as Basilone’s involvement in the Battle of Iwo Jima.

MakingOf.com is hosting an awesome discussion with Kevin Shortt, Lead Scriptwriter and Story Developer from Ubisoft Montreal who worked extensively with James Cameron on Avatar: The Game the story that takes place two years prior to the events of the 3D film due out in December.
Shortt touches on the 900 page script he wrote with two other writes that involves two separate narratives as well as the voice acting process. It’s interesting to note that James Cameron approached Ubisoft at the beginning of pre-production on the 3D film to insure that the game would live and breathe the world that he was creating on screen. The best bit of the video is that the game will be a completely different story from the film that takes place two years prior in the world of Pandora.
So are you going to pick up this game or just see the 3D film?
All I can say is… This is SWEET! I’m not sure who put this together (likely the owner of the watermark on the bottom-right corner of the video that I can’t make out) but, a really good job they did! Basically, this is simply a lengthy montage of behind-the-scenes footage – set to music – of Rain training and rehearsing his stunts and fight choreography for the upcoming ‘Ninja Assassin’ movie from the Wachowski brothers. Oh, but it’s sure entertaining to watch! I’ll let the video speak for itself…
