Watch The New ANNABELLE: CREATION Trailer

Lets go back to the very beginning with a new teaser trailer and poster for ANNABELLE: CREATION creeping into cinemas August 11.

From the master of horror, James Wan and director of LIGHTS OUT, David F. Sandberg, audiences will see how Annabelle was first brought to life.

In ANNABELLE: CREATION, several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a dollmaker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the dollmaker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.

Sandberg directs from a screenplay by Gary Dauberman, who also wrote “Annabelle.” The film stars Stephanie Sigman (“Spectre”), Talitha Bateman (“The 5th Wave”), Lulu Wilson (upcoming “Ouija 2,” “Deliver Us from Evil”), Philippa Coulthard (“After the Dark”), Grace Fulton (“Badland”), Lou Lou Safran (“The Choice”), Samara Lee (“Foxcatcher,” “The Last Witch Hunter”), Tayler Buck in her feature film debut, with Anthony LaPaglia (TV’s “Without a Trace”) and Miranda Otto (Showtime’s “Homeland,” “The Lord of the Rings” Trilogy).

Serving as executive producers are Toby Emmerich, Richard Brener, Walter Hamada, Dave Neustadter and Hans Ritter.

Collaborating with Sandberg behind-the-scenes from his LIGHTS OUT (review) team are production designer Jennifer Spence, editor Michel Aller and composer Benjamin Wallfisch; they are joined by director of photography Maxime Alexandre (“The Other Side of the Door”) and costume designer Leah Butler (“Paranormal Activity 3 & 4”).

Caesar Invades Vegas and Takes Over Caesars Palace Las Vegas with a major show-stopping visual effect!

Projections of Caesar, the title character of WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES, and a special image created by Shepard Fairey in collaboration with Studio One took over Caesars Palace.

 Famed contemporary street artist Shepard Fairey in collaboration with Studio One has created a stunning image which is being projected by twelve 35,000 lumen projectors with true 4k images all digitally mapped together to create one large image on the hotel.  The final image is over 495’ wide and 261’ tall and required over a football field of cabling running from roof to roof at Caesars Palace Las Vegas. All of the lights on the Caesars Palace Augustus Tower will be turned off while the image is projected.

Shepard Fairey stated, “After reading Matt Reeves’s script, I was excited to work on art for WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES because the story presents a visceral but sophisticated dichotomy of dual perspectives on the struggle for survival. Unlike most films in which the audience immediately identifies with their fellow humans and the threat is from the “other,” this films asks questions about compassion, empathy, and other traits that we usually only associate with humans.”

Fox Searchlight has released the first trailer for MY COUSIN RACHEL starring Rachel Weisz, Sam Claflin, Holliday Grainger, Iain Glen, and Pierfrancesco Favino.

A dark romance, MY COUSIN RACHEL tells the story of a young Englishman who plots revenge against his mysterious, beautiful cousin, believing that she murdered his guardian. But his feelings become complicated as he finds himself falling under the beguiling spell of her charms.

My Cousin Rachel is a novel by British author Daphne du Maurier, published in 1951. Like the earlier Rebecca, it is a mystery-romance, largely set on a large estate in Cornwall.

Richard Gere Stars In First Trailer For NORMAN

Sony Pictures Classics’ has released the first trailer and poster for Academy Award nominee Joseph Cedar’s NORMAN starring Richard Gere.

The cast includes Richard Gere, Lior Ashkenazi, Michael Sheen, Steve Buscemi, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Dan Stevens, Hank Azaria, Josh Charles and Harris Yulin.

The new film by Academy Award nominated director Joseph Cedar (FOOTNOTE) is a comic and compassionate drama of a little man whose downfall is rooted in a human frailty all too easy to forgive: a need to matter.

Norman Oppenheimer (Richard Gere) lives a lonely life in the margins of New York City power and money, a would-be operator dreaming up financial schemes that never come to fruition. As he has nothing real to offer, Norman strives to be everyone’s friend, but his incessant networking leads him nowhere. Always on the lookout for someone willing to pay attention to him, Norman sets his sights on Micha Eshel (Lior Ashkenazi), a charismatic Israeli politician alone in New York at a low point in his career. Sensing Eshel’s vulnerability, Norman reaches out with a gift of a very expensive pair of shoes, a gesture that deeply touches Eshel. When Eshel becomes Prime Minister three years later, he remembers.

With his very real connection to the leader of a major nation, Norman is awash in the respect he has always craved.
