Steroid dealer in ‘The Wrestler’ arrested for dealing Steroids!

For those of you that have watched ‘The Wrestler’ you know that at one point there is a steroids deal that goes on. Well the guy who played the steroids dealer in the movie, Scott Siegel, just got arrested for steroids trafficking! Irony at its finest and he went down like a champ with a high speed car chase, “ram”ming some police vehicles, hit an on foot officer, and will be sitting in jail for a while. Apparently they are charging him with Steroids Trafficking, and assaulting a federal agent.   You can see his mug photo below from TMZ:

MPAA Arrests 461 Movie Pirates!

The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) announced Monday the arrest of 461 alleged movie pirates – 56 caught using a camcorder in a theater – during a three-month period ending in July. [via Wired]

The announcement, which also said 1,000 optical disc burners were seized, could not be independently verified in what the MPAA is calling “Operation Takedown” – a law enforcement effort conducted jointly with local authorities and MPAA investigators.

The operation included the countries of China, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Korea.

The MPAA said cinema workers in Thailand were now using night-vision goggles to crack down on piracy. It said Hollywood’s lobbying arm also “conducted training for cinema staff to identify camcorders and prepped enforcement officers with basic knowledge of copyright law and to identify pirated products all around Asia.”

Among the highlights, according to the MPAA: more than 4 million pirated discs seized in China, 182 burners seized in Malaysia, 39 camcorder “interdictions” in the Philippines, 548 burners seized in Taiwan, 110 people arrested in Thailand and more than 530,000 infringing files removed from the internet in Korea.

I believe ‘Dark Knight’ is one of many movies floating around on the net for the viewing pleasure.

Shia Labeouf is out of control …

Shia Labeouf was arrested last night on suspicious of DUI after a car accident which left him, and 2 other people injured. Pile this on top of the fact that he was arrested last November, and was also arrested with a warrant in March for “unlawful smoking” (whatever that means?) and this kid is out of control!

The thing that gets me is the fact that after all this crap in the less than a year, he is still landing HUGE roles. He was in last summers biggest movie(Transformers), one of this summers biggest movies(Indiana Jones 4), and one of next summer’s biggest movies(Transformers 2).

Why does he keep getting chances, and it just slides off every ones shoulders, but when other celebs do the same thing, or even less, everyone goes off on them for it? He has been the legal drinking age for a year and has been arrested for it twice in the same amount of time. I am calling BULLSHIT.

Batman star Christian Bale ARRESTED!!

  

AFTERNOON UPDATE: TMZ  reports that  sources directly connected to the Christian Bale case say there was physical contact between Christian and his mom, but it amounted to next to nothing. We’re told Bale pushed his mom out of the way during the altercation. She was not hurt and did not fall down. There’s a division of opinion on whether the contact was a “push” or a “brush.” It seems what was hurt most during the confrontation were feelings … nothing more than feelings.

UPDATE: TMZ is reporting that Christian Bale was arrested for verbal assault, and one of Bale’s reps is echoing  In England  its known  as verbal assault, Class 4 and Class 5. Class 4 is more aggravated than 5, with “an intent to cause alarm.”

Last night there was all sorts of rumors flying around. Well today Batman star Christian Bale has been arrested by detectives investigating claims he assaulted his mother and sister, police sources say. His arrest comes just a day after the actor attended the premiere of his new film, The Dark Knight, in London. Bale, 34, is alleged to have lashed out at the two family members in his suite at Park Lane’s Dorchester Hotel on Sunday.

The British actor, who plays the Caped Crusader, is being questioned at a central London police station, sources added. The two women, who live in Dorset, went to a Hampshire police station yesterday to make a formal allegation.  

The complaint about the actor was then passed to the Metropolitan Police for
further investigation. A police spokeswoman said: “A 34-year-old man attended a central London police station this morning by appointment. “He was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. He currently remains in custody.†

Bale had joined Batman co-stars Sir Michael Caine, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Aaron Eckhart at the Odeon West End cinema in Leicester Square last night.

Josh Brolin arrested … George W.

“Actors Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright, in Shreveport for the filming of producer Oliver Stone’s “W.,” and five others were arrested early Saturday during fight at a downtown nightspot, setting off publicity from the U.S. to Australia and Singapore.

Officers were called to the Stray Cat, a bar in the 200 block of Travis Street, just after 2 a.m. to deal with a rowdy patron, according to a Shreveport police patrol report.

As more officers arrived, several other patrons at the bar, including Brolin and fellow actor Jeffrey Wright, tried to impede the officers, according to the report. In all, the report lists 10 officers called to the ruckus.

Brolin, Wright and four other people were charged with interfering with police, a misdemeanor.

City Jail booking records show Brolin had $130 in his possession he had to hand over to police in addition to his driver’s license, a belt, a cell phone, a lighter, a ring, his wallet and a watch.

He was released from jail after posting a $334 cash bond, at which time he could reclaim his belongings.

Detective Rod Demery, working as Shreveport police public information officer over the weekend, said sending officers to handle unruly bar patrons isn’t unusual.
“It’s a common call we receive quite often.†

Shia LaBeouf is getting arrested … again!

A $1,000 bench warrant was issued for Shia LaBeouf today after he failed to appear in court.

“An arrest warrant has been issued for actor Shia LaBeouf after he failed to show up in court on Tuesday to face an unlawful smoking charge. The Transformers star was cited for lighting up in a non-smoking shopping area in Burbank, California last month and was scheduled to appear in court early on Tuesday. Authorities have issued a $1,000 bench warrant for his arrest, according to Tmz.com. LaBeouf’s latest legal woe comes just a few months after the actor was arrested for trespassing in a Chicago, Illinois drugstore. The 21-year-old was charged with a public misdemeanour in November , after refusing to leave the store while drunk. The charges were later dropped. ”
