Creature Feature THE YETI Debuts on Blu-ray And DVD May 19

Ready for a Bigfoot movie?

A daring rescue mission becomes a desperate fight for survival involving brutal carnage, pulse-pounding action and a terrifying struggle to survive when the team steps into the territory belonging to THE YETI, the blood-splattered horror-thriller debuting on Blu-ray™ and DVD May 19 from Well Go USA Entertainment.

The film premiered at Beyond Fest on April 3, 2026, and is scheduled for a wider theatrical and digital release on April 10, 2026.

Co-written and directed by Emmy® Award winner William Pisciotta (Thunder Road, Beast Beast) and Gene Gallerano (Photographer, The First Wave), the ensemble cast of THE YETI includes Brittany Allen (“Dexter: Original Sin”), Eric Nelsen (A Walk Among the Tombstones), Corbin Bernsen (“Psych”), Jim Cummings (Halloween Kills), Christina Bennett Lind (“House of Cards”), and William Sadler (The Shawshank Redemption).

When an oil tycoon and a famous adventurer vanish into the harsh winter of remote northern Alaska, a hand-picked rescue team endeavors to bring them home. What they don’t know is that they are trespassing on The Yeti’s territory, and the elements are the least of their worries. A blood-spattered survival horror featuring a towering beast and gruesome practical effects, THE YETI hearkens back to a time when monster movies were king.

In their review, Dread Central said the film: “looks handsome enough, and the titular beast really is a wonder. In its best moments, there’s a solid siege movie in here, a la Dog Soldiers– a small-scale chamber piece about monsters picking a group off one by one.”

JoBlo’s Tyler Nichols said “I also really liked how much they managed to hide the creature, and give us more silhouettes and a powerful sound design to color the villain throughout.”

THE YETI screened at the Toronto International Film Festival.

“We created THE YETI as an elevated creature feature, harkening back to the golden age of monster movies when horror relied on practical effects, suspense, and well-rounded characters,” said Pisciotta and Gallerano. “We love that 1950s Cinemascope sentiment combined with our backyard JJ Abrams-style filmmaking and aesthetic.”

The score is from composer John Hunter. (Hunter composed the score for the Academy Award winning animated short The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore, directed by William Joyce and Brandon Oldenburg of Moonbot Studios.)

THE YETI has a runtime of approximately 93 minutes and is rated R.
