Marvel Studios’ latest trailer for AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY has dropped and it features the X-Men, including Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen and James Marsden as Scott Summers, aka Cyclops, in his comic-book accurate costume!
These teasers have been fantastic and finally a return to the serious heroes! Steve Rogers portrayed as a loving father and Thor as older, wiser and scarred by the past battles. Looks like Disney and Marvel will be treating Doomsday with the seriousness it deserves and will finally let the heroes be heroes once again.
The 2000s X-Men era in film kicked off with the seminal X-Men (2000), establishing a successful cinematic universe with sequels X2: X-Men United (2003) and X-Men: The Last Stand (2006).
Directors Joe and Anthony Russo are helming Marvel Studios’ AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY and the movie event of 2026 hits cinemas on December 18.
