WAMG readers  may know me as “That Weird Movie Guy”, but I’m also a collector and seller of Vintage toys and have set up at the Toyman Toy Show in St. Louis selling  old toys for the past 26 years. I specialize in Baby Boomer Toys from the ‘60s and ‘70s and have a massive collection of Batman, Universal Monsters, Munsters, 007, etc toys from those decades.

I’ll be speaking at The Missouri History Museum in St. Louis (5700 Lindell Blvd, St. Louis 63112) on January 12th at 7pm. It’s a lecture called: From the Screen to the Playroom: Movies, TV, and Toys They Inspire. This is to tie in to their current exhibit there called “Toys of the ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s” that runs through January 22nd. This is a FREE event. I will deliver this lecture that features hundreds of images from my massive collection of TV and movie-related toys from the 1950, 60s, and 70s. I’ll discusses the connections between movies, television, and the toys we play with. This lecture will last about 90 minutes. Don’t miss it!
