The dwarves have gotten together for a photo op –  a soothing HOBBIT band-aid of sorts after Peter Jackson announced that he wouldn’t be doing any kind of presentation at Comic Con in San Diego this year. He did assure the fans that the Hobbits would be there “in force” next year.

THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY is set for a December 14, 2012 release. The second film, THE HOBBIT: THERE AND BACK AGAIN, is slated for release the following year, on December 13, 2013.
