CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER Prizepack Giveaway!

The publishing world was rocked in 1938 by the arrival of the superhero. The next year a fledging comics house nameed Timely made a big splash with The Human Torch and The Sub-Mariner. A couple years later editor Joe Simon and artist Jack Kirby gave Timely an instant hit with Captain America Comics # 1, The main focus of that first issue cover was Captain America punching Adolph Hitler in the jaw. This was suprising because the magazine hit the news stand several months prior to The United States entry into war against the Axis forces.

As war clouds began to hover over the world a small comic company decided to create a hero to respond to the headlines. Colorful super heroes had made a splash just three years ago. This new hero would be clad in the colors of the flag and would fight evil on battlefields across the globe. – CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER.

Synopsis:

Captain America: The First Avenger will focus on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull (Hugo Weaving.)
