In a stroke-of-genius cameo casting, Broadway’s original Valjean, Colm Wilkinson will play the Bishop in the upcoming LES MISERABLES movie.
When newly paroled Jean Valjean steals silver from the church, the Bishop covers for him by saying the silver was a gift and throws in gold candlesticks so that he can start a new life.
