Michael Bay’s New TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON Trailer Hits

Paramount Pictures has launched the trailer for this summer’s highly anticipated movie TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON. (via Apple)

Wow, just as with the previous two TRANSFORMERS films, major Bay goosebumps – again! This WILL be my favorite film of the summer – I’m saying that now!! Really can’t wait to see it in IMAX too.

Synopsis:

When a mysterious event from Earth’s past erupts into the present day it threatens to bring a war to Earth so big that the Transformers alone will not be able to save us.

New Photo Of Shia LaBeouf And Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON

In March, Entertainment Weekly’s EW.com broke the news that Leonard Nimoy had joined the cast of the third Transformers film, TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON. In the film, Nimoy – who also voiced Galvatron in 1986’s THE TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE — will voice Sentinel Prime, Optimus Prime’s predecessor who was last seen on the moon in the teaser trailer. (His wrecked body was discovered by Apollo 11 astronauts.)

With less than 3 months until TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON is in theaters, what are you most excited about for Transformers 3?

Synopsis:

The Autobots Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide and Sideswipe led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009′s ‘Transformers Revenge of the Fallen’. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) has to come to the aid of his robot friends. First Look Photo of Dwayne Johnson & Vin Diesel In FAST FIVE

Hat-tip to our British friends, HeyUGuys, for the heads-up on this first look photo of FAST FIVE, the fifth installment of Universal Pictures FURIOUS franchise, from USA Today. Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel look totally badass together!

Justin Lin, who has been directing the series since 2006’s The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, says someone has to chase Diesel’s leadfoot character Dom Toretto and Walker’s ex-cop Brian O’Conner, both of whom went on the lam in last year’s hit Fast & Furious, which tallied $156 million. Johnson will play Hobbs, a cop on the trail of street racers Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson and the familiar crew of the Furious franchise, which has managed to retain much of its talent over the years. The high-octane, high-testosterone series has raced to nearly a half-billion dollars domestically since the hot-rodders hit the big screen in 2001.

FAST FIVE will be in theaters on April 29, 2011.
