Check out the ominous new poster for director Emerson Moore’s ESCAPE THE FIELD.

The fear is inescapable and the suspense nonstop in this gripping horror-thriller about six strangers who suddenly awaken in a remote, endless cornfield. Stripped of their possessions, they are left with only six items: a gun with a single bullet, matches, a lantern, a knife, a compass, and a flask of water. As mysterious sirens blare in the distance and traps appear at every turn, the group realizes it’s been plunged into a cat-and-mouse game with an unseen evil, and survival depends upon solving a diabolical — and deadly — puzzle.

ESCAPE THE FIELD stars Jordan Claire Robbins, Theo Rossi, Tahirah Sharif, Julian Feder, Elena Juatco, and Shane West.

The film will be on Demand and in select theaters on May 6.

The film is rated R for Violence and Language.

In this dark and twisted thriller, John Malkovich stars as Dr. Karn, an odd, eccentric specialist who guides unknowing patients through the reincarnation transition. When Harrison (Thomas Mann) experiences mysterious recurring dreams, he turns to Dr. Karn for help and reveals his encounter with a woman (Rosa Salazar) he loved in a previous life. Noticing a glitch in the system, the doctor must fix the issue before permanently derailing his patient’s future.

‘Echelon Conspiracy’ based on Reality?

Greg Marcks (11:14) has constructed a new conspiracy suspense thriller to join the genre called ‘Echelon Conspiracy’. The film is written by Kevin Elders (Iron Eagle I-III) and Michael Nitsberg. As you’ll see from the trailer below, the movie looks action packed and exciting (but, you know how that can be misleading)… on the other hand, the element of curiosity lies not in the trailer but in the website, which suggests that “Echelon” is for real!? Is it really, or is it just a snazzy new form of viral marketing? You be the judge. At the very least, I found it entertaining and intriguing… if not a little scary!

‘The Germs’ being immortalized in new biopic …

Rodger Grossman has spent 10 years trying to get this movie done, and finally its coming to fruition. Shane West and Bijou Phillips star. Punk is something I hold close to my heart, and it really excites me to see a feature full length about such a legendary punk band …

“Actor Shane West portrays Crash, who died of a heroin overdose at age 22 in 1980. The other actors who play the Germs’ members were taught to play instruments by Pat Smear, the band’s original guitarist and music producer on the film, and their recordings were used in the movie.”

Shane West has actually toured with The Germs doing vocals for them, so this role isn’t much of a stretch for him. We are sitting down to talk to Rodger tonight, and will post the interview tomorrow. For screening dates, and other info go check out their MYSPACE page..
