In theaters on Valentine’s Day 2014, here’s a look at the trailer for the remake of the 1981 teen movie ENDLESS LOVE.

ENDLESS LOVE stars Alex Pettyfer (Magic Mike) and Gabriella Wilde (The Three Musketeers) in the story of a privileged girl and a charismatic boy whose instant desire sparks a love affair made only more reckless by parents trying to keep them apart.

Directed by Shana Feste (Country Strong), the romantic drama co-stars Robert Patrick, Bruce Greenwood, Rhys Wakefield, Dayo Okeniyi, Emma Rigby and Joely Richardson.

The original starred Brooke Shields, was directed by Franco Zeffirelli and had the Oscar nominated, Diana Ross/Lionel Richie song, “Endless Love,” that virtually played non-stop on the radio.

When the must-see film of the year came out, Brooke Shields was HUGE, coming off the Calvin Klein commercials AND Blue Lagoon. That was the whole point!! You can’t make this with NO-NAMES… otherwise no one will give a hoot nor will they be willing to hand over their dollars for a ticket.

It was all about her. No one even knew who the actor was that played David. It wasn’t about him… it was HER. That’s the only way a movie like this works.

ENDLESS LOVE will be released on February 14 and will go head-to-head with VAMPIRE ACADEMY.

Universal’s SANCTUM Trailer Swims In

Executive Producer James Cameron will try to take your breath away in this new trailer for SANCTUM.

The 3-D action-thriller SANCTUM, from executive producer James Cameron, follows a team of underwater cave divers on a treacherous expedition to the largest, most beautiful and least accessible cave system on Earth. When a tropical storm forces them deep into the caverns, they must fight raging water, deadly terrain and creeping panic as they search for an unknown escape route to the sea.

Synopsis:

Master diver Frank McGuire (Richard Roxburgh) has explored the South Pacific’s Esa-ala Caves for months. But when his exit is cut off in a flash flood, Frank’s team—including 17-year-old son Josh (Rhys Wakefield) and financier Carl Hurley (Ioan Gruffudd)—are forced to radically alter plans. With dwindling supplies, the crew must navigate an underwater labyrinth to make it out. Soon, they are confronted with the unavoidable question: Can they survive, or will they be trapped forever?

Shot on location off the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, SANCTUM employs 3-D photography techniques Cameron developed to lens AVATAR. Designed to operate in extreme environments, the technology used to shoot the action-thriller will bring audiences on a breathless journey across plunging cliffs and into the furthest reaches of our subterranean world.
