HIGH STRUNG FREE DANCE Takes to the Stage on Blu-ray, DVD and VOD February 4th

Following a theatrical release to the USA’s top markets, GVN Releasing has announced the Blu-ray, DVD and Digital release of Michael Damian’s High Strung Free Dance.  The sequel to Damian’s dance hit High StrungHigh Strung Free Dance tells the story of choreographer Zander Raines (Thomas Doherty, The Descendants franchise, “The Lodge”), contemporary dancer Barlow (Juliet Doherty) and innovative pianist Charlie (Harry Jarvis, “Proven Innocent”, “Dixi”) amid the backdrop of New York’s most-anticipated new Broadway show: Free Dance.

High Strung Free Dance will be available nationwide February 4th on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD, including iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Google Play, Vudu and more.

The Blu-ray and DVD releases of High Strung Free Dance will exclusively include a behind the scenes featurette, an interview with composer Nathan Lanier and music videos for “Masterpiece” and “Liar”.

High Strung Free Dance brings together groundbreaking original music with an expansive mix of choreography from Emmy award winner Tyce Diorio (“So You Think You Can Dance”) alongside 80 of the world’s most thrilling and original dancers. The film is elevated by standout supporting performances from veteran actors Jane Seymour (who reprises her High Strung role as Oksana and also serves as an executive producer), Ace Bhatti (Bohemian Rhapsody, Eastenders) and Desmond Richardson (Chicago). The original soundtrack artfully blends original orchestrations, reimagined classical pieces along with rap and pop.

Building on the fresh model set forth in its 2016 predecessor High Strung, High Strung Free Dance again brings together numerous dance styles and extraordinary performers from around the world as well as the same creative team, Broadway stars and husband-wife duo Michael Damian and Janeen Damian. Michael and Janeen Damian both wrote and produced High Strung Free Dance, with Michael directing.

Zander Raines, a dazzling young choreographer (Thomas Doherty), gives the break of a lifetime to two hopeful artists when he casts a stunning contemporary dancer, Barlow (Juliet Doherty) and innovative pianist, Charlie (Harry Jarvis) in New York’s most-anticipated new Broadway show: Free Dance. But the move throws off the show’s delicate creative balance when Charlie falls hard for Barlow while Zander embraces her as his muse. The emotions run hot igniting a rollercoaster of impassioned rivalry, romance and determination. The question is, how much are these talented artists willing to risk for love?

WAMG At The MARLEY & ME: THE PUPPY YEARS Premiere

PUPPY PARTY!

No, really! In celebration of the August 16th release (at Walmart and on Walmart.com) of MARLEY & ME: THE PUPPY YEARS, they had a celebration that, for lack of a better term (and because I am corny!), went to the dogs! (And one cat that was on a leash…Um… yep!)

Saturday, at The Grove in Los Angeles, hundreds of Canine Americans and their humans got together for a fun filled day of activities, treats, and play! These pups had an active day that consisted of:

  • The Ultimate Puppy Championship – Testing Your Dog’s Agility on the Special Course Presented by Zoom Room
  • Shelter Dog Fashion & Runway Show Featuring the Summer & Fall Lines from Ruff Ruff Couture
  • Marley Photo Booth – Get Your Picture Taken with the Adorable Little Star
  • Booths promoting pet adoption from spcaLALA Animal Services and Best Friends
  • Doggie Spaw and Relaxation Area with Free Nail Painting and Massages for Your Animal
  • Doggie Treat and Dining Area
  • “Stupid Dog Tricks” Contest
  • VIP Gift Bag Raffles Presented by Stella & Chewy’s Treats and Three Dog Bakery

This one really had me cracking up!!! Man gets lick-attacked by boxer puppy!

The SPCALA was there with adorable babies as well! These poodle mixes are up for adoption… including Snickers, the adorable poodle mix at the bottom. He stole my heart (but I already have two fur children). If you are interested in Snickers, click HERE.

And, for the final event of the day… a red carpet event where the four legged stars, as well as their two legged co-stars, walked the red carpet before screening the movie outside. This, by far, was the most adorable red carpet that I have ever covered!!!

And now… I am about to melt your heart!

Director Michael Damian, wife/co-writer Janeen Damien, and cast members Travis Turner and Lauren Lavoie joined the pups on the red carpet before the films premiere.

I took this one with my phone because I didn’t want to blind Michael Damian with my camera flash.

*That, and my mom needed a picture of Danny Romalotti from The Young And The Restless. (My family has been fans of that show for generations!)

Travis Turner took the time out to speak with young fans. It was really refreshing to see. He is such a nice guy!

And finally, an outdoor screening of the film. It was a fun filled day!

MARLEY & ME: THE PUPPY YEARS comes out today exclusively to Walmart and Walmart.com
