‘Zack and Miri Make a Porno’ gets official …

Well, Zack and Miri have an official theatrical release date. October 31st 2008 … freakin’ Halloween! Beautiful. I absolutely cannot wait to check this out, Kevin Smith takes too long in between movies to satisfy me.

Synopsis from Zack and Miri:

“Smith has released little information about the film, except that it is a comedy about two lifelong platonic friends who have managed to trudge into adulthood with a satisfying lack of accomplishment. However, a high school reunion and dire rent problems spark the novel moneymaking idea of pulling together an amateur porn enterprise with their friends. As the film begins shooting, however, Zack and Miri realize their feelings for each other might be more than just that of friends.”

Unfortunately, we couldn’t get our hands on the pictures from the set of the PORNO, but we did find some other pictures from what seems to be a Strip Club!

USA Today  did a new-story about the movie having the word “porno” in the title … go check it out if you want, but there is really no need to EVER leave our site … unless its to go to the site below, then we understand.

Update on ‘Zack and Miri Make a Porno’

So I was checking the “intar-webs† and I came across some View Askew News updates. You should know about the silly videos from The Jimmy Kimmel Show where Sarah Silverman sings about having “relations† with Matt Damon and then how Jimmy and Ben Affleck are intimate but have you seen this?

Updates and new info:

~ Film is set in Monroeville, PA
~ Will be shot in a 1:85 aspect ratio.
~ Filming began on Jan 17th.
~ Kevin shot his first snowfall and a Black Friday(day after Thanksgiving) mall scene (what?! A mall??! But not the mall. That’s in Eden Prairie, MN)
~ Over an hour of movie has been shot and the trailer may debut with Pineapple Express and maybe a Sept or Oct release date??
~ Test screening in April or May? In LA?

As much as I love Kevin Smith I need to get that Clerks II donkey show out of my mind!!!!!

‘Porno’ supporting cast revealed!

Hey Kevin Smith fans!

The supporting cast for Zack & Miri make a porno has been announced.

You will be glad to know Jay and Jeff Anderson are back…but what about Brian O’Halloran? Come on Kevin! Bring back Brian!

Other new additions are porn stars……yeah…porn stars? Traci Lords and Katie Morgan will be in it…playing porn stars i bet!

Craig Robinson from the Office and Ricky Mabe. Kevin made a guessing game out of some small pictures before the announcement and some of the speculation was correct, mainly jay and jeff.

Production is set to begin today, January 16, 2008, in Pittsburgh, PA(where Dogma was shot I believe) I can’t wait for a new Kevin Smith flick! I need to get the bad taste of Clerks II’s donkey show out of my mind and replaced with witty dialogue in a food court! Or more Smith penned comics would help as well.

My twin, Tyler Labine, cast in ‘Zack and Miri…’

My boy Labine has been cast in Kevin Smith’s new movie Zack and Miri Make a Porno. I assume this is from Kevin Smith directing the pilot episode of the reaper(a show which Labine plays the funny friend/sidekick). I am excited about this because I think he is a great actor, just done alot of one and done tv shows.
