The always sexy Pete from /Film posted a new photo from a magazine of Eli Roth and Brad Pitt. The photo is of course a promo for ‘Inglourious Basterds’, in which Roth plays Sgt. Donny Donowitz AKA “The Bear Jew† and Brad Pitt plays Lt. Aldo Raine, AKA “Aldo The Apache† the leader of the Basterds.

If you didnt already know,   I am ridiculously excited for this movie and cannot wait to see it later this summer..

‘Inglourious Basterds’ teaser coming this week

Prepare yourselves boys and girls as we are getting a teaser trailer for ‘Inglorious Basterds’ on Thursday’s episode of Entertainment Tonight. Look out Wednesday sometime because these always seem to leak early. I for one am stoked to see this damn thing as Tarantino can do no wrong in my eyes especially with Brad Pitt at the forefront.

‘Inglourious Basterds’ set pictures

/Film scored some photos from the Paris set of ‘Inglourious Basterds’ and I must say, they are pretty boring! Don’t discount how excited I am about this movie, but these set pictures aren’t that great, but worth sharing if you are as into Tarantino flicks as I am…

‘Inglourious Basterds’ outtake, Tarantino spitting video…

Someone snagged a pretty funny video of Tarantino teaching some of his actors on the set of ‘Inglorious Basterds’ how to properly spit out their drink to make it look real..presumably on camera. The video cant be embedded, but you can view it on youtube. Enjoy

Will Ennio Morricone feel the need to be ‘Inglourious’?

Legendary composer Ennio Morricone (Man With No Name   trilogy, etc.) has been indirectly connected with Quentin Tarantino in the past, sort of… Tarantino had hoped to work with Morricone on ‘Pulp Fiction’ but Morricone turned him down. They had another awkward pairing with ‘Kill Bill’ when instead of using “new” Morricone work, Tarantino and the RZA tapped into some of Morricone’s older work.

Now, with Morricone recently having turned 80, talk is fluttering again about Morricone’s “possible” involvement on ‘Inglorious Basterds’ which makes sense… it would be difficult to make Tarantino’s “usual” style of movie music float in the period war flick. The question is (A) Whether Morricone is actually attached, or even considering this, although Italy Global Nationis apparently stating he is… and (B) at Morricone’s age, how much of his work would appear in the film if he did agree?

Its ‘Inglourious Basterds’… not ‘Inglorious Bastards’

The Weinstein Co released a press statement about principal photography continuing on the film ‘Inglourious Basterds’, and this raised a lot of eyebrows because from the beginning he has been remaking ‘Inglorious Bastards’. Well, in an attempt to differentiate the two movies Mr Tarantino is calling this one ‘Inglourious Basterds’. I love this idea! When people do a search for the original they will search with ‘bastards’, and when they search for the Tarantino remake they search for ‘basterds’.

Confused yet? Thanks to The Quentin Tarantino Archives for the above photo…
