‘Puppet Master’ Remake in 3-D?
For all you Full Moon fans out there, BloodyDisgusting.com has revealed that cult B-movie producer/director Charles Band is looking to remake his original 1989 horror film ‘Puppetmaster’.
In the original, a puppeteer kills himself but his marionettes come to life and begin partake on an evil reign of terror as they kill anyone they come across. Not much more is known regarding details of the remake, except that Band hopes to shoot the remake in 3-D.
Personally, I’m not thrilled about this but I’m also not set against it. I love Band’s movies. I grew up watching them in my early years as I developed into a movie geek and the ‘Puppetmaster’ franchise was among my favorites. It seems everyone is trying to jump on the 3-D bandwagon, but I don’t see how this will be worth the trouble if the movie doesn’t play in theaters.
Regardless, I wish Mr. band luck and hope he continues to make his movies… if so, I’ll keep watching!
