Here is a snippit:
“Was the suit more comfortable this go around
It was heavier but much more comfortable. There is 110 parts to this one there were 3 to the original. I can move my head this time and the suit was more mobile. For the fighting method that we used the suit actually was compatible with that, where as in the first one i was having to fight against the suit in order to be able to do the fight sequences. In every way the suit was more advanced and I think also more in keeping with images that the military have of future soldiers and their gear.
The suit has to evolve but there were certain just for personal reasons, requests that I had made, and that Chris had been adamant about. We had to be able to move the head. Batman has never moved his head in any of the movies.”

This one is for you Chuckwick. Ropes of Silicon have posted up a hilarious day by day breakdown of things you can do while waiting for the movie to release.
Here is my favorite, and I think Charlie already did this:
“July 1st:
Send out “Save the Date” cards reminding your buddies that July 18, 2008, is the most important day of their short, pathetic lives. Make sure the card shows a picture of you in your favorite Batman costume. Card should also remind buddies to wear their favorite Batman (or Star Wars or Japanese Manga character) costumes to the screening.”
There you go you The Dark Knight fanboys…
And as an extra attraction ala Michelle…here’s wild video of Batman vs Batman for the obsessed fan….enjoy!

The hype is out of control, and everyone is preparing to see the flick in 17 days, they have released 49,593 TV spots, the trailer is on the front of almost every movie, and the posters are everywhere. They have released a new poster, and it is by far my favorite of the bunch. What do you guys think?

The follow-up to the action hit “Batman Begins,†“The Dark Knight†reunites director Christopher Nolan and star Christian Bale, who reprises the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne in his continuing war on crime.
With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to destroy organized crime in Gotham for good. The triumvirate proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a rising criminal mastermind known as the Joker, who thrusts Gotham into anarchy and forces the Dark Knight ever closer to crossing the fine line between hero and vigilante.
Academy Award nominee Heath Ledger (“ Brokeback Mountain †) stars as arch-villain The Joker, and Aaron Eckhart plays District Attorney Harvey Dent. Maggie Gyllenhaal joins the cast in the role of Rachel Dawes. Returning from “Batman Begins†are Gary Oldman as Lieutenant Jim Gordon; Oscar winner Michael Caine (“The Cider House Rules†) as Alfred; and Oscar winner Morgan Freeman (“Million Dollar Baby†) as Lucius Fox.
“The Dark Knight†will be distributed worldwide in theatres and IMAX by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
“The Dark Knight†has been rated PG-13 for “intense sequences of violence and some menace.â€
See you there!

Heath Ledger is getting a fond tribute from his collaborators on “The Dark Knight,” reports THR. The end credits of the “Batman Begins” sequel include a farewell note to Ledger, who died in January from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs; and to special-effects technician Conway Wickliffe, who was killed last September in a stunt-car accident.
“In memory of our friends Heath Ledger & Conway Wickliffe,” reads the tribute included in the credits, which went up Thursday on the Warner Bros publicity Web site.
Ledger plays the villainous Joker in “The Dark Knight,” who begins a reign of terror on Gotham City that pits him against conflicted hero Batman (Christian Bale).
Beginning months before Ledger’s death, his frenetic performance and demented-clown makeup have been a cornerstone of the marketing campaign for the film.
“I needed a phenomenal actor, but he also had to be someone unafraid of taking on such an iconic role,” director Christopher Nolan says in the production notes for “The Dark Knight.” “Heath created something entirely original. It’s stunning, it’s captivating. … It’s going to blow people away.”
This is wonderful news.
RIP Heath!
