Win Passes To The Advance Screening Of MAN DOWN In St. Louis – Stars Shia LaBeouf

unnamed-1

When U.S. Marine Gabriel Drummer (Shia LaBeouf) returns home from his tour in Afghanistan, he finds that the place he once called home is no better than the battlefields he fought on overseas. Accompanied by his best friend Devin Roberts (Jai Courtney), a hardnosed marine whose natural instinct is to shoot first and ask questions later, he searches desperately for the whereabouts of his estranged son, Jonathan (Charlie Shotwell) and wife, Natalie (Kate Mara). In their search, the two intercept Charles (Clifton Collins), a man carrying vital information about the whereabouts of Gabriel’s family. As we revisit the past, we are guided in unraveling the puzzle of Gabriel’s experience and what will eventually lead us to finding his family. The psychological suspense thriller, MAN DOWN also stars Gary Oldman.

Directed by Dito Monteil, MAN DOWN opens in theaters December 2nd, 2016.

First 5 1/2 Minutes of BOONDOCK II Gets a Little Hairy

boondock saints II

As much as I defend Troy Duffy’s BOONDOCK SAINTS, I have to give a bit of a confession here.  I’ve only seen it one time, many years ago, and, for all I know, my growing cynicism since that date may leave the film on a second viewing cold in my thoughts.  I’m not sure of that, but I do remember liking the film very much.  As such, I am excited to see what Duffy has in store for us in terms of a sequel.  Today, thanks to the fine folks over at IGN, we have a look at the film’s opening scene, the first five and a half minutes.

Check it out:

You can also check out the clip in HD over at IGN.  All in all, it offers up much of what you might expect, guns, rock music, and cussing.  Of course, there’s just no preparing you for a shot of Norman Reedus’ ass.

BOONDOCK SAINTS II: ALL SAINT”S DAY hits limited theaters this Friday, October 30th.
