First Trailer for Roland Emmerich Produced HELL

Executive producer Roland Emmerich, who brought us INDEPENDENCE DAY, now seeks to drag us to HELL, a new post-apocalyptic film directed by Tim Fehlbaum. HELL is a German-language production, so we’ll probably not see a wide release in the United States, but should surely have a run amidst the art house and indie theatres.

This first international trailer (in German) presents HELL as a sort of less depressing, more thrilling version of THE ROAD. I’m not suggesting it’s a rip off of the film based on Cormac McCarthy’s book, but it just feels like a similar type of story. Regardless, the cinematography looks compelling and while I can’t understand a word of dialogue (without subtitles) I am sufficiently intrigued by this trailer.

Rogen going ‘Apocalypse’ on us …

Seth Rogen is doing it all now, and that apparently includes turning the end of the world into a comedy … again.

“”Jay and Seth vs. the Apocalypse” will be written by Rogen and his writing partner, Evan Goldberg, and will star Rogen and Jay Baruchel.

The story revolves around two guys who, with the end the world unfolding and the planet invaded by monsters, are ready to kill each other after being cooped up together for too long.

Goldberg and Jason Stone came up with the story, and Stone directed a short trailer for it in 2007 in hopes that the concept could one day be turned into a movie.”

This guy did a trailer for this and its turning into a feature full length. I can feel it coming on now, he is going to over extend himself in EVERYTHING and we will quickly get tired..sorta like Jim Carey did.
