In the grand tradition of the Muppets, the film features a host of cool cameos. Revealed so far are Danny Trejo, Tom Hiddleston, Celine Dion, Salma Hayek, P Diddy, Christoph Waltz and Ross Lynch.
Disney’s MUPPETS MOST WANTED takes the entire Muppets crew on a global tour, selling out grand theaters in some of Europe’s most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid, Dublin and London.
But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine—the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit—and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two, portrayed by Ricky Gervais.
The film stars Tina Fey as Nadya, a feisty prison guard, and Ty Burrell as Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon.
Director James Bobin returns to Muppets mania. For his work as Disney’s “The Muppets” director, Bobin was nominated for BAFTA (Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer). He co-created HBO’s “Flight of the Conchords,” which he wrote, directed and exec produced.
Bret McKenzie, who won an Oscar for best original song for “Man or Muppet,” returns to the Muppets stage as music supervisor. McKenzie created, co-wrote, executive produced and starred in the hit HBO television series “Flight of the Conchords,”
Disney’s MUPPETS MOST WANTED is directed by James Bobin and produced by David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman. Bobin co-wrote the screenplay with Nicholas Stoller, who is also executive producer with John G. Scotti. Marvel Studios leveraged America’s favorite sporting event to debut the world premiere of the new full-length trailer in an unprecedented cross platform partnership with Fox and Marvel.
Fox broadcaster Joe Buck introduced the special look to the Big Game spot, which directed viewers to FoxSports.com for a complete CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER takeover and the brand new full-length trailer.
The :30 second Big Game spot included music from the National Anthem and aired surrounding the team captains introduction and the National Anthem performance.

The film re-unites the filmmaking team from the hit franchise, including producers Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Don Murphy & Tom DeSanto and Ian Bryce, executive producers Steven Spielberg, Bay, Brian Goldner and Mark Vahradian and is written by Ehren Kruger, based on Hasbro’s Transformers Action Figures.

At SupportTheMonumentsMen.com, moviegoers can sign a virtual petition supporting the Monuments Men’s efforts to preserve and protect great cultural works of art by encouraging members of Congress to honor the Monuments Men with the Congressional Gold Medal.
In addition, visitors will find a phone number – 1-866-WWII-ART – which will connect callers directly to the Monuments Men Foundation, where they can speak with a Monuments Men Foundation representative regarding the search for lost art.
Also as a part of the Support the Monuments Men site, visitors will find an interactive map. On the map, moviegoers can find out local museums that will be featuring their institutions’ connection to the Monuments Men – such as personnel who participated in the campaign or rescued works of art that hang on the museums’ walls.
On the “Journey of the Monuments Men” feature, visitors can read about the history – from information about the real Monuments Men to the efforts they and others took to save landmark works during the war.
Finally, the studio has developed an educational program to engage high school and college students, families and art buffs about the story of the Monuments Men. “Even today, people are still trying to get back the art that was looted from their families by the Nazis,” Producer Grant Heslov says, noting that just recently, a treasure trove of looted art was discovered in a Munich apartment – 1,500 works worth $1.5 billion, paintings by Matisse, Picasso, Dix, and other artists that had been thought to be lost.
“I think what that goes to show is that this is not a story that ended in 1945 – the search for missing art goes on today,” Heslov continues. “There are still thousands of works that are still lost. There are paintings that are hanging in people’s homes or hidden in plain sight on the walls of museums. Can you imagine if all of that had just been destroyed? It would have been a catastrophe.”

Movies, Muppets and The Matrix. With only a few days until Super Bowl XLVIII and the Broncos/Seahawks matchup, the best Commercials of the year are already getting a lot of early buzz. The Big Game ads have become the water cooler talk the day after.
