Marvel’s CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER Teaser Poster

Disney has sent us the new teaser poster for Marvel’s CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER and by the looks of it – a tad battle-scarred.

For those headed to San Diego for Comic-Con, prepare for even more Cap in Marvel Studios’ Hall H presentation Saturday, July 20.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER will pick-up where “Marvel’s The Avengers” left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.

Chris Evans (“Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Marvel’s The Avengers”) returns as the iconic Super Hero character Steve Rogers/Captain America, along with Scarlett Johansson (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” “Iron Man 2”) as Black Widow and Samuel L. Jackson (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” “Iron Man 2”) as Nick Fury.

Robert Redford will play Agent Alexander Pierce, a senior leader within the S.H.I.E.L.D. organization.

Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941, the supporting cast includes Sebastian Stan (“Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Black Swan”) as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie (“The Hurt Locker,” “Million Dollar Baby”) as Sam Wilson/Falcon, Cobie Smulders (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” “How I Met Your Mother”) as Agent Maria Hill, Frank Grillo (“Zero Dark Thirty”) as Brock Rumlow and Georges St-Pierre (“Death Warrior”) as Georges Batroc.

Rounding out the cast are Hayley Atwell (“Captain America: The First Avenger”) as Peggy Carter, Toby Jones (“Captain America: The First Avenger,” “The Hunger Games”) as Arnim Zola, Emily VanCamp (“The Ring 2,” “Revenge”) as Agent 13 and Maximiliano Hernández (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” “Thor”) as Agent Jasper Sitwell.

Anthony and Joe Russo are directing (“Welcome to Collinwood”) from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus (“Captain America: The First Avenger”) & Stephen McFeely (“Captain America: The First Avenger”).

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER releases in theaters on April 4, 2014.

First Poster for Spike Lee’s OLDBOY Is Here

Josh Brolin emerges from a trunk in this first, eye-popping poster for OLDBOY.

OLDBOY is a provocative, visceral thriller that follows the story of an advertising executive (Josh Brolin) who is abruptly kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his bizarre and torturous punishment only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment.

FilmDistrict will release the red-band trailer on July 10th.

Co-starring Elizabeth Olsen and Sharlto Copley, OLDBOY was directed by Spike Lee, from a script by Mark Protosevich (I Am Legend, The Cell, Thor). The film was produced by Roy Lee, Doug Davison and Nathan Kahane.

OLDBOY hits theaters October 25, 2013.

“Disney’s Planes” is an action-packed 3D animated comedy adventure featuring Dusty (voice of Dane Cook), a plane with dreams of competing as a high-flying air racer. THE KINGS OF SUMMER Gets A Cool New Poster

In celebration of THE KINGS OF SUMMER in select theaters, CBS Films has commissioned artist Jonathan Wilcox to create a new map poster with film clips and stills on the image interactive tool Thinglink.

Jonathan Wilcox assisted in the film’s prop creation, including the missing poster for Patrick, the hand-drawn creed and map, titles for the opening and closing credits, pre-production storyboards and other design elements.

This breakout film from the 2013 Sundance Film Festival follows three teenage friends who, in the ultimate act of independence, decide to spend their summer building a house in the woods and living off the land. THE KINGS OF SUMMER features an all-star cast, including Nick Offerman (“Parks & Rec”), Megan Mullally (“Will & Grace”), Alison Brie (“Community”), Mary Lynn Rajskub (“24”), Nick Robinson (“Melissa & Joey”), Moises Arias (“The Middle”), Gabriel Basso (“Shameless”), and Erin Moriarty (“The Red Widow”).

Making its world debut Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at the Annecy Animation Festival in Annecy, France, is Walt Disney Animation Studios’ never-before-seen short “Get A Horse!”

Starring the one and only Mickey Mouse and featuring Walt Disney himself as the voice of the iconic character, this black-and-white, hand-drawn short follows Mickey, his favorite gal pal Minnie Mouse and their friends Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow as they delight in a musical wagon ride – until Peg-Leg Pete shows up and tries to run them off the road.

On hand to present the short will be will be filmmakers Lauren MacMullan (Wreck-It Ralph, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Simpsons), Dorothy McKim (Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice, The Ballad of Nessie, Meet the Robinsons) and legendary Disney artist and animator Eric Goldberg.
