‘Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor’ Poster

Brendan Fraser, and Jet Li? Weird. I think this is a big clue as to how the story is going to be based. The mummy must be related to some type of Chinese martial arts? or maybe Jet Li is the mummy? Thanks to movies online for the poster. This is just the teaser poster, the real poster will have a furious picture of Fraser and Li with some type of grungy desert background … count on it!

Dark Knight: Great Campaign until “snooooze” posters

International Dark Knight Poster - Joker

I hate to start off my first post with a major Warner Brothers summer blockbuster but I seriously couldn’t resist. The Dark Knight released a set of international posters today with Omelete but what a disappointment. The new Batman movie tops my list of movies for the summer. Their viral campaign has been undoubtedly one of the most in-depth and comprehensive so far. Chris has done an amazing job of tracking this movie.

Keep an eye for The Dark Knight trailer that is expect to be released tonight.

‘Dragonball’ … Goku pic and Teaser Poster

.

Yes … the rumors are true. They ARE making a live-action movie of Dragonball, which was shot in Mexico and is currently in post-production. The movie has a tentative release date of April 8, 2009. I’ve seen several episodes of the long-running, insanely popular Dragonball anime series, but was never a big fan. I saw the series as a cool Saturday-morning cartoon sort of experience, but prefer the more serious anime options available. James Chatwin (The Chumscrubber, The Invisible) plays the role of Goku, the young fighter who seeks out the great Master Roshi, played by Chow Yun-Fat (Hard Boiled, Bulletproof Monk). He is tasked with finding and gathering all seven of the mystical dragonballs, before the evil Lord Piccolo, played by James Marsters (Winding Roads, P.S. I Love You), can find them and use them to take over the world. What are the chances of this film being successful, outside of pre-teen Yu-Gi-Oh playing boys?

New ‘Incredible Hulk’ poster … old school, nice!

The official Incredible Hulk poster has just been released and here it is … courtesy of IGN.com

I like the poster, has some old school Bill Bixby TV series appeal … and, as we’ve seen the movie apparently does as well. Looking forward to this “version” … not a sequel or a remake, just different …
