Director David Ayer’s action adventure brings DC Comics’ super villain team to the big screen and stars two-time Oscar nominee Will Smith as Deadshot; Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn; Oscar winner Jared Leto as the Joker; Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg; Jai Courtney as Boomerang; Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Waylon Jones / Killer Croc; and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress.

It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

Ayer also penned the script for SUICIDE SQUAD and is produced by Charles Roven (upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”) and Richard Suckle (“American Hustle”). Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Colin Wilson and Geoff Johns are serving as executive producers.

New Madea Film, BOO! A MADEA HALLOWEEN Begins Production – Stars Tyler Perry And Bella Thorne

Tyler Perry Studios announced today that they have started production on a new Madea film, BOO! A MADEA HALLOWEEN, which will be distributed by Lionsgate.

The film releases October 21st, 2016.

Tyler Perry will write, produce, direct, and star in the latest project with the popular character Madea. Ozzie Areu and Will Areu will also be producers on the film. The film’s origins date back to when Perry and Chris Rock conspired to include a fictitious Madea Halloween movie in Rock’s film Top Five. Lionsgate then approached Perry and suggested that they make the movie for real.

In BOO! A MADEA HALLOWEEN, Madea winds up in the middle of mayhem when she spends a hilarious, haunted Halloween fending off killers, paranormal poltergeists, ghosts, ghouls, and zombies while keeping a watchful eye on a group of misbehaving teens.

Perry will play the roles of “Madea,” in addition to the roles of “Joe” and “Brian.”

The film will also star Bella Thorne as “Rain,” Cassi Davis as “Aunt Bam,” Patrice Lovely as “Hattie,” Andre Hall as “Quinton,” Yousef Erakat as “Jonathan,” Lexy Panterra as “Leah,” Diamond White as “Tiffany,” Liza Koshy as “Aday,” Brock O’Hurn as “Horse,” Jimmy Tatro as “Sean,” JC Caylen as “Mikey,” Kian Lawley as “Bean Boy,” and Mike Tornabene as “Dino.”

Production is under way in Atlanta.

Deon Taylor’s Comedy MEET THE BLACKS Opening In Theaters April 29

Deon Taylor’s comedy MEET THE BLACKS will open nationwide this April 29th.

A comedy/horror hybrid spoofing the hit film “The Purge,” MEET THE BLACKS stars Mike Epps (“The Hangover,” “50 Shades of Black,” “Resident Evil: Apocalypse”), George Lopez (“Lopez Tonight,” “Swing Vote,” “Balls of Fury”), Mike Tyson (“The Hangover” series “Scary Movie 5”), Bresha Webb (NBC’s “Truth Be Told”), Zulay Henao (“True Memoirs of An International Assassin”) as well as a ‘who’s who’ of pop culture personalities including Gary Owen (“Ride Along”) Charlie Murphy (“The Chappelle Show”), Tameka “Tiny” Cottle (VH1’s TI & Tiny with Rap artist husband TI), gossip columnist Perez Hilton, Paul Mooney (Richard Pryor’s longtime writing partner), Vine star Andrew Bachelor, and comedians Lil Duvall, DeRay Davis and Lavell Crawford.

Marlon Wayans’ FIFTY SHADES OF BLACK Soundtrack Available January 22

IM Global Music has announced that it will release the official soundtrack album for IM Global’s upcoming film, FIFTY SHADES OF BLACK.

The outrageous comedy, which will be released wide by Open Road on over 2000 screens on January 29, stars Marlon Wayans, Kali Hawk, Mike Epps, Andrew Bachelor, Affion Crockett, Jane Seymour, Fred Willard and Florence Henderson.

The soundtrack album, which was curated by Format Entertainment (Empire, Pitch Perfect, Marvel’s Avengers, Iron Man 2) with IM Global Music, will feature a variety of the hottest hip-hop and R&B tracks and will be available for download on January 22nd on iTunes and Amazon.

Paramount Pictures and Cinemark Theatres present an exclusive 13 HOURS: THE SECRET SOLDIERS OF BENGHAZI movie event in more than 100 Cinemark Theatre locations across the U.S. for one-night-only on Thursday, January 14th.

Director Michael Bay, producer Erwin Stoff, and the real life heroes of Benghazi, Mark “Oz” Geist, Kris “Tanto” Paronto and John “Tig” Tiegen, will appear live at the Cinemark Playa Vista and XD theatre in Los Angeles for a Q&A following the 5:00 p.m. screening of the film.
