Shy misfit Sarah Goodwin (Kay Lenz, House), has a secret gift: the ability to control ― and destroy ― with her mind. The relationship between Christina Crawford and her adoptive mother Joan Crawford is presented from Christina’s view. Unable to bear children, Joan, in 1940, was denied children through regular adoption agencies due to her twice divorced status and being a single working person. Her lover at the time, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer lawyer Greg Savitt, was able to go through a brokerage to adopt a baby girl, who would be Christina, the first of Joan’s four adoptive children. Joan believes that her own difficult upbringing has made her a stronger person, and decides that, while providing the comforts that a successful Hollywood actress can afford, she will not coddle Christina or her other children, she treating Christina more as a competitor than a daughter. Joan’s treatment of Christina is often passive-aggressive, fueled both by the highs and lows of her career, the narcissism that goes along with being an actress, and alcohol abuse especially during the low times. However, Joan sees much of her actions toward Christina as Christina purposefully provoking her. Despite the physical and emotional abuse Joan hurls at Christina over the course of their relationship, Christina, who often wonders why Joan adopted her seeing as to the abuse, seemingly still wants her mother’s love right until the very bitter end

Anthony Perkins builds upon his legendary status as cinema’s seminal psycho in Edge of Sanity, a delirious conflation of Robert Louis Stephenson’s classic horror novella ‘Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde’ and Jack the Ripper’s real-life reign of terror over Victorian London.

When his experiments into a powerful new anaesthetic go hideously awry, respected physician Dr Jekyll (Perkins) takes off into the night, casting aside the shackles of upper-class propriety as he disappears into the shadowy decadent demimonde of Whitechapel in pursuit of sensual pleasures under the guise of ‘Mr Hyde’. As his wife Elisabeth (Glynis Barber) passes her time in charitable work, rehabilitating the district’s fallen women, Hyde is drawn into an escalating cycle of lust and murder that seems to know no bounds.

Produced by exploitation maestro Harry Alan Towers (The Face of Fu Manchu, Count Dracula) and directed with a hallucinogenic intensity by Gérard Kikoïne (Lady Libertine, Buried Alive), Edge of Sanity plunges the viewer into a labyrinth of depravity from which there is no escape.

After Iranian militants stormed and took control of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran in November 1979 taking 56 Americans as hostages, six Americans managed to get away and took refuge in the home of Canadian Ambassador Ken Taylor. After two months of the Canadians putting their lives on the line everyday, the CIA and the US State Department try to come up with a plan to get their people out. Tony Mendez is an “ex filtration” specialist who proposes that they pose as a Canadian film crew scouting locations for a science fiction movie called Argo. Using Hollywood connections, Mendez creates a back story for the movie – ads in Variety, casting calls, inviting he media to a production launch – and then heads off to Iran to lead the six Americans out.

Peaches Christ’s Long-Lost Cult Film ALL ABOUT EVIL to be Resurrected This June – Natasha Lyonne Leads an All-Star Cast

Following a world premiere at the San Francisco International Film Festival and a limited theatrical run in 2010, Peaches Christ’s All About Evil disappeared underground for years, becoming the stuff of legend.  Now, the demented, blood-splattered classic is back for good, courtesy of a June 10th special edition Blu-ray release from Severin Films and a North American streaming release on Shudder June 13th. To celebrate, Peaches Christ herself will present the film at “Peaches Christ 4-D Screenings” along the West Coast, including the Los Feliz 3 in Los Angeles on June 9 and the Victoria Theater in San Francisco on June 11 where the film was shot. Fans in Los Angeles can also attend a Blu-ray signing event at Dark Delicacies on June 12 with Peaches Christ and members of the cast.


All About Evil combines a wildly imaginative script with eye-popping buckets of blood. The film is anchored by a first-class cast: Natasha Lyonne (“Russian Doll”, “Orange is the New Black”) as the mad projectionist, Thomas Dekker (“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”, Kaboom), Cassandra Peterson (Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, Rob Zombie’s The Munsters), John Waters muse Mink Stole (Serial Mom, Hairspray), and Noah Segan (Knives Out, Looper). 


The Blu-ray of All About Evil will feature a brand-new HD restoration of the feature, along with newly-produced and archival bonus features for fans to devour. Severin Films will release the Blu-ray on June 10th. Shudder will release the film on its service June 13th to subscribers in North America.
Of the film’s long awaited resurrection, Peaches Christ shared, “For years, the movie has been unavailable and fans have been clamoring for it. As the creator, it’s been frustrating to say the least. I feel like I’ve been given a great gift from both Severin and Shudder and am thrilled so many new people will discover my Evil little baby. The BluRay and features are truly stunning. I’m really proud of the film and am hoping the re-release helps get another feature film going!”

In the years since the birth of All About Evil, Peaches Christ has toured the globe, scaring and delighting audiences. For the past two years, Peaches has hosted Midnight Mass with Michael Varrati (Tales of Poe, “Dragula”), a podcast based on Peaches’ long-running cult movie series in San Francisco. Every week, the pair go deep into discussions on the nature and fanbase of cult cinema, discussing everything from the works of Dario Argento to Rock N’ Roll High School to Matilda.
