Check out this short film made to test a concept for a feature MORTAL KOMBAT film from Warner Brothers. The film plays sorta like an R-Rated homicide detective story incorporating a secret underground illegal fighting tournament, featuring new takes on characters Baraka, Reptile and Scorpion with a brief appearance by Sonja Blade and a split-second glimpse of Sub-Zero. Oh yeah, and Johnny Cage gets killed… which is fine because I always thought he was the lamest MK character.
