Sony Pictures Classics has obtained the U.S. rights to Woody Allen’s next film, a comedy titled ‘Whatever Works. The movie marks Allen’s return to filmmaking in New York after a streak of four films made in Europe. As always, Allen wrote and directed the film and stars Larry David, Evan Rachel Wood, Ed Begley Jr. and Patricia Clarkson. ‘Whatever Works’ is set to release this summer.
