Will Smith fancies The Last Pharaoh

Don’t tell Will Smith he “CAN’T” do something … if you do, he most likely will find a way to do it. Apparently, Smith has tapped Carl Franklin (Devil in a Blue Dress) to write a script called The Last Pharaoh for him to add to his big-budget acting resume. The basic plot of the story will center on Taharqa, the last pharaoh of the Nubian Dynasty. We can certainly feel comfortable in assuming historical accuracy will take a backseat to massive special effects and lots of action. According to an article in Jam!, Franklin has already replicated a script out of thin air and it is now being “polished” by writer Chris Hauty (Never Back Down). Consider me … well, sceptical.
