85th Academy Awards, Wednesday Set Ups

Preparations continued Wednesday for The Oscars as the red carpet was ceremoniously rolled out in front of the Dolby Theatre. As temperatures dropped once the sun set over Hollywood and Highland, crews worked quickly to make sure the 500 feet of carpet was ready for Sunday when the pre-show and Oscars are televised live on the ABC Television Network and in more than 225 countries worldwide. I’m glad I brought a coat and gloves with me… it was cold in Southern California.

Oscars for outstanding film achievements of 2012 will be presented on Oscar® Sunday, February 24, at the Dolby Theatre™ at Hollywood & Highland Center®, and will be hosted by Seth MacFarlane.  For more information go to or download the official Oscars app.
