Nicolas Cage In Trailers For FROZEN GROUND And STOLEN

If GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE didn’t give you enough of Nicholas Cage to last the year, fear not. There’s more. 2012 will end with 2 films from the Oscar winning actor. First up is Nicolas Cage, John Cusack and Vanessa Hudgens in the new trailer for FROZEN GROUND (via THR).

In this taut and gripping, true-life thriller, Alaska State Trooper, Glen Flothe (Cage), partners with Cindy Paulson (Hudgens), to bring Alaska’s most notorious serial killer, Robert Hansen (Cusack), to justice.

As the bodies of women start to add up, Sgt. Flothe goes on a personal manhunt to find a serial killer who has silently stalked the streets of Anchorage for more than 13 years. When 17 year-old Cindy Paulson escapes Hansen’s unspeakable violence, she believes the law will take him down. Instead she finds herself, once again, fighting for her life. With her only ally, the unlikely Sgt. Flothe, Paulson is determined to bring the serial killer to justice

Directed by Scott Walker, FROZEN GROUND will be in theaters November 30.

Next up is the trailer for STOLEN.

Director Simon West and Nicolas Cage team-up for the first time since the 1997 blockbuster CON AIR for STOLEN, a unique fast paced action thriller that takes place during 10 frantic hours on Mardi Gras day in New Orleans. The film also stars Josh Lucas, Danny Huston, Malin Akerman, Sami Gayle, Mark Valley and M.C. Gainey.

The film is rated R for some violence and brief language. STOLEN in theaters September 14, 2012.
