Does every movie have to be an retro remake!? Hollywoods says yes

Seriously, look at the last few years and also what is to come, why can’t hollywood come up with some fresh and new ideas!? Well, they can, it is just that they know that these movies did good in the 80’s, so they will for sure get there pockets lined with cash this time. These are the movies that are out and are in the works right now.

Transformers

Speed Racer

The Smurfs

Hellraiser

The Producers

The Hills Have Eyes

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Willard

Black Christmas

The list goes on and on. Its sad, mainly because we have all already seen these movies. Yet, people flock to the theaters in droves to see these remakes. I think this is ridiculous. Now don’t get me wrong there are some really kickass guys in hollywood pumping out new stuff. Judd Apatow for example he has done Anchorman, 40 year old virgin, Superbad, knocked up, ect. Those are the fresh new movies I like to see. I don’t want to watch a rehashing of old crap I’ve seen a thousand times. I will make a prediction, so take note. These are the movies I think will be remade in the next 10 years…

Beetlejuice

Children of the corn

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

Karate Kid

Toxic Advenger

Blues Brothers

Platoon

I think at least two of those movies will be remade. Now there is only one thing we can do, that is wait and let Hollywood cram these movies down our throat….
