The Terminator Takes Over Waze Navigation For TERMINATOR GENISYS

To celebrate the release of the highly anticipated film TERMINATOR GENISYS, Paramount Pictures, Skydance Productions, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Waze (www.waze.com), have teamed up to give drivers around the world the ultimate voice navigation machine: Arnold Schwarzenegger as the ‘Guardian’ Terminator from TERMINATOR GENISYS.

Starting today, users of the world’s largest community-based traffic and navigation app can select custom Terminator voice commands from the Terminator himself. The Terminator will give directions to user’s destinations and alert them if a T-1000 is spotted ahead. In addition, movie theater locations showing TERMINATOR GENISYS will be branded with the iconic red-eyed Endoskull, helping WAZE users to see the film when it opens in theaters on July 1st 2015.

“From the first time I used Waze, I have wanted to lend my voice to it. The Terminator is the perfect machine to guide Wazers to their destinations,” said Schwarzenegger. “Every single day on social media fans ask me to record my movie lines, so now I get to bring this classic role and my charming Austrian accent into their cars.”

The Waze app and special Terminator voice commands are free of charge. Wazers will be able to opt in to using the Terminator’s voice for navigation by clicking Settings -> Sound -> Voice Language.

TERMINATOR Watch Party Gets Fans Ready For TERMINATOR GENISYS; James Cameron Talks New Chapter

The machines took over Saturday night in St. Louis. Car machines, that is.

To get fans ready for the upcoming release of the TERMINATOR GENISYS, Clean Cut Creations Vintage Auto Works hosted a watch party of the original 1984 film, THE TERMINATOR, with a drive-in movie night.

Saturday evening’s event was open to everyone and St. Louis area vintage car owners arrived in style to watch James Cameron’s sci-fi classic.

In 1984, a cyborg arrived from the future. He was called the Terminator.

Jump 30 plus years into the future to 2015 and a brand chapter of the Terminator franchise. Opening on July 1st with new cyborgs and bigger action sequences is TERMINATOR GENISYS.

Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions have released the first trailer for TERMINATOR GENISYS.

Set in a new timeline, the film stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Jason Clarke, Matt Smith, Byung-Hun Lee, and JK Simmons. TERMINATOR GENISYS is directed by Alan Taylor.

The movie hits theaters July 1, 2015.

“Doctor Who” Star Matt Smith Joins Cast of TERMINATOR Reboot

Matt Smith, best known for playing The Doctor on the popular “Doctor Who” television series (2011-2013), is joining the the cast of the upcoming TERMINATOR reboot.

Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions made the announcement today.

Smith will play a new character with a strong connection to John Connor, alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi and Byung Hun Lee.

Alan Taylor is directing the film from a screenplay by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier. David Ellison and Dana Goldberg of Skydance Productions are producing. Skydance’s Paul Schwake, Annapurna Pictures’ Megan Ellison, Kalogridis and Lussier are executive producing.

Smith’s other television credits include “Christopher and His Kind,” “Moses Jones,” and “The Street.”

He can be seen next on the big screen in LOST RIVER, directed by Ryan Gosling, alongside Christina Hendricks, Saoirse Ronan and Eva Mendes.

He is represented by United Talent Agency and Michael Duff at Troika.

The “TERMINATOR” franchise launched in 1984 with Schwarzenegger as the title character and spanned three subsequent films, which have earned more than $1 billion at the worldwide box office.

Paramount will distribute the film worldwide on July 1, 2015.

TERMINATOR Reboot Begins Filming – Stars Arnold Schwarzenegger

Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions announced today that principal photography is officially underway on the TERMINATOR reboot, directed by Alan Taylor (“THOR: THE DARK WORLD,” “Game of Thrones”).

The film is shooting in New Orleans and Paramount will distribute the film worldwide on July 1, 2015.

TERMINATOR stars Arnold Schwarzenegger (“THE EXPENDABLES 1 & 2,” “TERMINATOR 1, 2 & 3”), Jason Clarke (“THE GREAT GATSBY,”“ZERO DARK THIRTY”), Emilia Clarke (“Game of Thrones”), Jai Courtney (“DIVERGENT,” “JACK REACHER”), J.K. Simmons (“MEN, WOMEN & CHILDREN,” “UP IN THE AIR”), Dayo Okeniyi (“THE HUNGER GAMES,” “THE SPECTACULAR NOW”), and Byung Hun Lee (“RED 2,” “G.I. JOE: RETALIATION”).

The new film is written by Laeta Kalogridis (“AVATAR,” “SHUTTER ISLAND”) and Patrick Lussier (“DRIVE ANGRY”).
