The women are running the show in this second trailer for Alex Garland’s ANNIHILATION.

Based on Jeff VanderMeer’s best-selling Southern Reach Trilogy, an all-female expedition investigates a strange zone where at least a dozen previous teams have vanished, died, or come back changed.

ANNIHILATION stars Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodriguez, Tessa Thompson, Tuva Novotny and Oscar Isaac.

It was written and directed by Alex Garland (Ex Machina, 28 Days Later).

ANNIHILATION is in theaters February 23, 2018.
