Producer Will Packer (Ride Along and Think Like a Man franchises, Almost Christmas) presents GIRLS TRIP, a new comedy from director/producer Malcolm D. Lee (The Best Man franchise, Barbershop: The Next Cut).

Lee says of his film: “There is this closeness that women have that you notice, even if they don’t say a word. In this movie, we’re capturing with them dancing together, sleeping in bed together, and eating and laughing together. All women are going to enjoy this movie, but black women are going to really own this movie. They’re going to say, ‘That’s me, and those are my girls.’ Sisters have not had a movie like this that celebrates them in this way.”

GIRLS TRIP opens in theaters on July 21.
