KITE Movie Coming To Theatres And VOD on October 10 – Stars Samuel L. Jackson & India Eisley
Check out the trailer for Anchor Bay Entertainment’s upcoming thriller KITE, starring India Eisley, Callan McAuliffe and Samuel L. Jackson. Available now on DIRECTV, KITE will be released in theatres and on VOD on October 10th.
Based on the groundbreaking, cult classic anime by Yasuomi Umetsu, KITE tells the story of Sawa, India Eisley, (Underworld: Awakening), a young woman living in a corrupt society where crime and gangs terrorize the streets. When Sawa’s mother and policeman father are found victims of a grisly double homicide, she begins a ruthless pursuit for the man who murdered them.
With the help of her father’s ex-partner, Karl Aker (Samuel L. Jackson), and a mysterious friend from her past (Callan McAuliffe), she becomes a merciless teen assassin, blasting her way through the dark world of human trafficking only to uncover a devastating truth.
India Eisley is a born actress – really – her mother is Olivia Hussey, who, among other roles, played Juliet in Zeffirelli’s famous movie retelling of Romeo & Juliet.
