STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS Spock Clip

J.J. Abrams’ STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS pulls no punches in this first, suspenseful clip centered around Mr. Spock. “The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.” It’s STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN all over again. The latest voyages of the starship Enterprise arrive in less than a month so prepare for an onslaught of new clips this week and in the coming days.

In the wake of a shocking act of terror from within their own organization, the crew of The Enterprise is called back home to Earth. In defiance of regulations and with a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads his crew on a manhunt to capture an unstoppable force of destruction and bring those responsible to justice.

As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.

The film is written by Roberto Orci & Alex Kurtzman & Damon Lindelof and directed by J.J. Abrams. Stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Peter Weller, Alice Eve and Benedict Cumberbatch.

STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS opens in the U.S. in select theaters in IMAX 3D on May 15th and theaters everywhere May 17, 2013.
