PAIFF/TALENTHOUSE Searching For New Talent In Short Film Contest

Palo Alto, CA – The Palo Alto International Film Festival (PAIFF)/Talenthouse Award invites filmmakers to submit their live action, animated, mobile phone or documentary short films for a chance to be featured at PAIFF in September.

The deadline to submit films is Wednesday, June 22. All films must be less than 30 minutes in length.

Beginning Thursday, June 23 and running through Thursday, June 30, the public will have a chance to vote for their favorite films at http://www.talenthouse.com/palo-alto-international-film-festival-be-featured. One Grand Prize winner and three additional short films will be chosen by PAIFF from the top 30 vote getting films. Winners will be announced on Thursday, July 7.

The Talenthouse Award-winning film will be screened at PAIFF 2011 and its filmmaker will be flown to Palo Alto to attend the festival and will be honored with the Talenthouse Award at the Sallie Gardner Awards ceremony on the closing night of the festival. The winning filmmaker will also take home a copy of the Adobe Creative Suite 5.

In addition, three finalist filmmakers also will have their films screened at the festival and will receive tickets to all PAIFF screenings, workshops and talks.
