It had its good points but also had many bad points and did not do “The Runaways” justice. I was in high school in the late 70′s when the Runaways were playing the local clubs. They were very big among my crowd. I have there 4 original studio albums and Cherie’s album.

I watched Edgeplay, read wikipedia, etc. and know much more about the band than this film shows, so yes I was very disappointed. I even feel that a lot of this film is distorting the facts of what actually happened.

He always is and always overlooked. Hopefully not anymore since that Oscar nod for 'Revolutionary Road'. Long overdue FYI. I was disappointed in the fact that I DID want to learn more about Joan Jett (Larkin). She (albeit flawed) is a chick icon. She did it her way. Very cool. I know this was based on Cheri's book, but I really yearned for the Joan angle. I was kinda surprised that there was VERY little exploration between Joan & Cheri's connection which seemed to be a major part of this band 'rockin'. Joan has never stopped. Rock on Joan!
