WAMG Pre-Tribeca Party

You Are Cordially Invited To The Completely Informal WeAreMovieGeeks.com Pre-Tribeca Party!
A little over 6 months ago I lost out on $10,000 by placing third in the Netflix Movie Watching World Championship. Little did I know that a few days later, I would become the biggest winner of the competition because my little stunt led me to this gig writing for WAMG.

When I realized that a private screening of my film was set for the day before Tribeca, I decided to change it into a Pre-Tribeca bash for my fellow movie geeks. I am inviting several filmmakers/actors whose films are at Tribeca, as well as my fellow film bloggers and all the amazing PR reps that helped me bring awesome movie coverage to this site. I will also be giving away a few pairs of tickets to some lucky NY readers.

Here are the event details†¦
Who: I just said who. Pay attention.

What: Glad you asked. At the start of the event, there will be a 20-minute acoustic performance by The Scenic. (Go to www.myspace.com/thescenic to hear them play) The acoustic set will be followed by the premiere of the indie comedy Stuck Like Chuck, which has never been shown before and won’t screen again until it’s “official† premiere at the SINY Film Festival. The rest of the night will be for mingling. Oh and I forgot to mention, I am ordering a ton of pizza for after the film.

When: Tuesday April 21st, 7 – 10 PM

Where: 11th Floor of the NYIT New Technology Building at 16 West 61st Street – Please don’t show up if you are not on the guest list.

Why: Because I love movies.

This is going to be a lot of fun and I wish everyone could come. Unfortunately, space is very limited. If you would like to win a spot on the guest list good for 2, send an email to jerry@wearemoviegeeks.com telling me your favorite indie movie.

I’ll leave you with the trailer for Stuck Like Chuck. Enjoy!

Jerry Cavallaro – www.AreYouStuckLikeChuck.com

Born with a camera in hand, Jerry Cavallaro was destined to be a great filmmaker. Legend has it that he even filmed his own birth. He later went on to film the indie rom-com STUCK LIKE CHUCK, which is now available to watch for free on Amazon. Jerry brings his passion for movies, both behind the camera and in front of the screen, to every piece he writes for this site.
