WAMG Contest: ‘The Dark Knight’

By  |

‘The Dark Knight’ is finally here, and to celebrate we are giving away a VERY limited amount of tickets to the St Louis advanced screening on the IMAX! The screening will take place July 16th at 7pm, but the only way to get in is to win tickets! We will be giving away 10 admit one passes for the screening and one lucky winner has a chance to win a ‘The Dark Knight’ prize pack.

If you want to win one of these hard to come by tickets, all you have to do is create a villain for the next batman flick. We need a full description, and bio about the villain..what weapons does he use? weakness? love interest? why does he have it out for batman? Below are some examples of the ‘Create the next villain’ that Ram Man and I came up with, as well as user submissions.

Ram Man:

Slade Wilson (played by Colin Ferrell) a special ops assassin, code name “the terminator” by his unit, is abandoned by everyone and left for dead in Iraq. Slade turns up very much alive and is back for revenge for all of those who marked him for death. He has tracked down  Sergeant Gordon , now commissioner of the police force in Gotham city. Now the roof tops of Gotham are a little crowded with Deathstroke and the Dark Knight. Can Batman prevent the assignation of his friend  or will Slade’s kill list grow!

Evil Captain America:
Will be played by Dolph Lundgren because he cant get a break and play the real Captain. He drank the same super soldier serum, but it had a different reaction to his russian blood and has made him a very menacing and dark. He has set his radar on all of the “good” superheros and first on his list is Batman.

All entries MUST be in by July 10th if you want to be considered. We will be picking these at random, unless you do such a great job that we cant resist picking you. Please email all entries to and do it quick!

Be sure to check out the official Dark Knight website at

The movie will be released July 18th, and is rated PG-13…

User Submissions:

Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley (Isla Fischer) is one of the world’s leading botanists. After learning she has a hyperactive immune system that causes her body reject any infection, poison, or outside contamination, she dons the guise of “Poison Ivy” and begins a career of crime. While experimenting on the island of Fiji is subjected to a toxin that transforms her into the worlds most feared terrorist. She is now targeting the city of Gotham with an air-borne pathogen that kills after only an hour of exposure. Batman must first find this vicious vegan and then somehow diagnose the melting pot of poisons she has unleashed on the people of Gotham.
I choose Poison Ivy (Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley) because we share the same first name and we are both redheads!

Mala and Myrna:

Brain Slayer, played by Javier Bardem, exhibited dangerous character abnormalities as a child and eventually began killing people with no sense of remorse. After his capture, the government, instead of incarcerating him, thought they could use him as a weapon against unfriendly countries. Brain Slayer eventually was captured by the Germans and was kept in a dungeon for ten years. His long imprisonment and torture with electricity, and because of his abnormal brain, he discovered that he was actually developing the ability to introduce ideas into the minds of his captors. If he really concentrated while doing this, he could cause permanent damage to the brains of his victims. If he did not feel like he wanted to damage someone’s brain, he could alter a person’s brainwaves that would cause temporary memory loss and disorientation. Ordinary people could easily be affected with his mind projections. But he found it more difficult with people who had extraordinary “will-power.† His escape required little effort. The Brain Slayer was the epitome of bitterness and revenge. He hated his former captors, but more than anything else, he wanted to return to Gotham City with the objective to kill Batman.
